Zhejiang held a press conference on the prevention and control of the new crown pneumonia epidemic today (16th).

At the meeting, it was reported that from 16:00 on December 15 to 16:00 on the 16th, 50 new confirmed cases were reported in Ningbo, Shaoxing and Hangzhou in Zhejiang Province (including 2 cases in Ningbo, 45 cases in Shaoxing, and 3 cases in Hangzhou). No new asymptomatic infections were reported.

Since December 5, to 16:00 today, a total of 342 confirmed cases and 1 asymptomatic infected person have been reported in the three places in Zhejiang (excluding the number of confirmed cases, the same below). Among them, Ningbo has reported a cumulative total of 64 confirmed cases, Shaoxing has reported a cumulative report of 254 confirmed cases and 1 case of asymptomatic infection, and Hangzhou has reported a cumulative report of 24 confirmed cases.

The province has investigated a total of 16,882 close contacts and 37,498 sub-close contacts, all of which have implemented control measures.

The three places have carried out a total of 12.966 million nucleic acid collection tests, and 12.1589 million copies have been produced, except for the above-mentioned infected people, all of whom are negative.

The province has been included in the isolation and control 621073, of which 67,673 are in centralized isolation, 38,764 are under home health observation, and 514636 are under daily health monitoring.
