Zhejiang Auto Network Data Reference: The domestic auto market finally ended its three consecutive declines last year. As a major economic province in China, Zhejiang's automobile consumption growth last year was even more gratifying, far exceeding the growth rate of the domestic automobile market.
According to the statistics of the number of new car traffic insurance purchases, in 2021, a total of 1652947 passenger cars were sold in major cities in Zhejiang Province, an increase of 14.74% over the 1440431 units in 2020. From the perspective of the increase of each city, eight cities achieved double-digit growth, accounting for more than 70%, and three cities increased by more than 20% year-on-year. Among them, Lishui rose the most, as high as 25.46%, and Hangzhou and Huzhou ranked second and third, with a year-on-year increase of 21.4% and 20.91% respectively. The cities with the smallest increases were Zhoushan and Ningbo, with only two more points of increase.

Although the major cities in Zhejiang have a large gap in the absolute sales of automobiles, all cities will be able to achieve a full increase in automobile sales in 2021, indicating that Zhejiang's automobile consumption demand is generally strong, which is also a manifestation of the economic vitality and consumption strength of a large economic province.
