Thousands of years of cultural precipitation and continuation have created unique folk customs and cultural landscapes in the region, including "three gold and one inlay", that is, the traditional handicrafts represented by gold and silver embroidery, illuminated gold paint, vermilion lacquer wood carving and bone wood inlay. "Three golds and one embedded" are all representative items of national intangible cultural heritage. They are not only exquisite craftsmanship, exquisite and exquisite, but also contain the unique cultural quality and rich local customs of eastern Zhejiang, which is the crystallization of the wisdom and skills of the ancestors for thousands of years, and also perfectly interprets the yearning and pursuit of the people of Ningbo for a better life, and is a veritable intangible heritage "national treasure".
Since ancient times, Ningbo has a tradition of "weaving mats at home and embroidering at home". Ningbo embroidery can be compared with the Su embroidery and Xiang embroidery we are familiar with. 1. Tuesday-Sunday is normally open to the public free of charge. Closed on Mondays (except holidays).
2. Hours: 9:00-17:00 (last admission after 16:00)
3. The daily visit restriction control shall not exceed 75% of the approved number of people. Visitors can make online time slot reservations through the WeChat public account of Ningbo Museum 5 days in advance.
4. Visitors who have successfully made an appointment must come to visit during the reservation period, and the audience must wear masks correctly throughout the queue and visit, and cooperate with the staff to carry out body temperature measurement, health information collection and bright (scanning) code, prevention and control inspection and queuing and control of flow. Visitors with a green health code and a body temperature of no more than 37.3°C can enter the museum. In the event of a large number of visitors, please understand that measures such as controlling the speed of admission will be taken according to the specific situation.
5. During the visit, please wear a mask throughout the tour, please keep a distance of more than 1 meter when queuing and visiting, reduce close communication, pay attention to shelter when coughing and sneezing, and please do not gather, eat, or touch the display cabinet in the museum.
