The vivid shape and bold style highlight the aesthetic characteristics of Jingchu culture, and the tiger zun was excavated from the silt layer of rivers and lakes, and there is no trace of long-term use, which should be used to sacrifice rivers, lakes, mountains and rivers. This also shows Chinese respect for tigers.

The largest exhibit in the exhibition, the Tiger Bird Hanging Drum, is the "treasure of the town hall" of the Jingzhou Museum. This large instrument is based on two Crouching Tigers, with a bird standing on each tiger's back, and the most important drum hangs in the middle of the bird. This kind of phoenix tiger shape makes people more able to play associations when listening to the drums, to feel the tiger roar and phoenix chant. Although this time to Ningbo is a replica, the audience may wish to appreciate the shape of the cultural relics, but also imagine the majestic and high-pitched music from the pre-Qin Dynasty.

If you want to say that the most special exhibit in the exhibition is the bronze shell vessel from the Yunnan Museum. Located in the southwestern border, the Dian culture has developed a political, economic, cultural, and living customs with a unique national imprint. Shell vessels are bronzes unique to the Dian Dynasty, so named because they were filled with shells at the time of excavation. In the lives of the Dian people, shells were equated with wealth, either stored or locally used as general equivalents for the exchange of livestock, metals, slaves, precious stones, etc.

The two shell containers on display are based on the theme of tigers fighting with other animals, solidifying the most thrilling scene in the fight. Especially the tiger and bull fighting copper shell vessel, the cover shows two bulls and a tiger are fighting, the tiger roars to fight back, the two cows fight back and forth, and what is more eye-catching is that there is a tree in the middle of the cover, and there are two monkeys watching the battle on the branches, their tails are tied together, showing nervous emotions, and there are two birds, which seem to be startled by the fight, spreading their wings and wanting to fly. The ancients of a thousand years ago used these vivid and full details to further render the sense of presence of tigers and bulls fighting.

Food, clothing, shelter and travel are accompanied by tigers

The image of the tiger in political life is often high above and full of inviolable deterrent power. When the tiger enters the folk, it changes into a richer form and derives a wider range of connotations. People regard the tiger as a mascot to ward off evil spirits and pray for blessings, and they have accompanied it for thousands of years.

A very large part of the tiger artifacts in this exhibition are closely related to our daily lives. Among them, there are a number of bronze mirrors with dragon and tiger patterns, the era from the Eastern Han Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty, which shows the love of the ancients for tigers in different periods. Including the Tang Qinglong White Tiger Suzaku Basalt Pattern Diamond Flower Shaped Bronze Mirror, which is the only four-god mirror in the exhibition.

Small items with tigers as the theme also have their own characteristics, such as the silver belt hook of the dragon and tiger in the Warring States period, the jade dragon pendant of the dragon head and tiger body, and the dragon and tiger pattern jade plate and tiger pattern porcelain in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The exhibition also focuses on a class of characteristic tiger cultural relics excavated in Ningbo area - tigers. Tigers, that is, ancient drowning instruments, have existed since the Warring States, and people have made drowning instruments into the form of tigers, which shows the ambivalent mentality of both reverence for tigers and wanting to conquer.
