It can be said that almost every city has its own museum, in addition to those well-known provincial museums, some prefecture-level city museums also hold a unique cultural relics, such as several prefecture-level city museums in Zhejiang that I have walked through during my travels, which also have a unique culture, and these small and beautiful museums are Jiaxing City Museum, Wenzhou Museum and Ningbo Museum.
The first one I would like to recommend: Jiaxing Museum

It can be said that the Jiaxing Museum, which has a collection of only more than 7,000 pieces, is much inferior to many museums in China, but the prehistoric culture of Jiaxing and some Buddhist statues and cultural relics also make this museum deeply rooted in my heart.
Jiaxing Museum to see the Neolithic cultural relics, among these cultural relics I prefer is the "Human Head Pottery Bottle", this cultural relics is about 21 centimeters high, the whole body is clay gray pottery, the overall presentation of the first three sections of the gourd bottle body, especially the head is a vivid image of the neolithic human face.
This kind of pottery vase is likely to be related to the primitive religious sacrifices such as praying for rain and harvest at that time, and such a peculiar Neolithic relics are very rare in China, and they deserve to become the treasures of the town hall and even the national first-class cultural relics.
The second cultural relic that I like in Jiaxing Museum is the Mingsu Sancai Porcelain Ship, which is a porcelain excavated from the Ming Dynasty husband and wife burial tomb, although the cultural relics are small, if you look closely, you will find that its content is very rich, showing us the customs of sending funerals in Jiangnan water towns, which can be seen to be of great value.
In addition, the Jiaxing Museum can not miss the bronze statue of Master Ming Zibai, the three-legged bird-shaped pottery cup, the black pottery bag foot mane and other cultural relics.
The second one I would like to recommend: Wenzhou Museum

Compared with many popular museums in China, wenzhou museum is not large in scale, and the number of collections is only more than 40,000 pieces, but it has become the top 5 museums in Zhejiang.
Why does the Wenzhou Museum make me like it? That is, the Buddha statue excavated from the Wenzhou White Elephant Pagoda fills the gap in the color sculpture of the Northern Song Dynasty in China.
In the 1960s, the Wenzhou White Elephant Pagoda had to be demolished because of the many cracks in the tilt, which could not be reinforced and repaired again, and many cultural relics were excavated on all floors of the tower, including copper coins, brick carvings, inscriptions, porcelain and Buddha statues, the most precious of which was the Northern Song Dynasty clay sculpture painting.
It can be said that China's color sculptures to Dunhuang Mogao Grottoes, Foguang Temple and other Tang Dynasty color sculptures are the most exquisite, they show us the charm of China's Tang Dynasty color sculptures, but the number of Chinese Tang Dynasty color sculptures is very small, these Northern Song Dynasty color sculptures of the White Elephant Pagoda just fill the gap in China's early color sculptures, and these color sculptures inherit the Tang sculpture style on the basis of the secular atmosphere of the Song Dynasty statues, which can be described as rare treasures.
The focus can be on the Northern Song Dynasty painted statue of the Bodhisattva, the Northern Song Dynasty to the Dao second year color sculpture Jupiter offering statue, the Northern Song Dynasty painted statue of the Bodhisattva and so on are very exquisite.
The third one I would like to recommend: Ningbo Museum

The 60-acre Ningbo Museum built for 250 million yuan is my second favorite zhejiang prefecture-level municipal museum, and the first is of course the Hangzhou Museum.
The exterior design is Wang Shu, the winner of the "Pritzker Architecture Award", so both the exterior and interior decoration have a strong local style. Returning to the cultural relics themselves, the collection of cultural relics in the Ningbo Museum is richer than the aforementioned Jiaxing and Wenzhou Museums in terms of quantity and variety.
Ningbo Museum takes a look at the cultural relics of Hemudu, which show us that as early as 7,000 years ago, the ancestors were already so clever, and the oriental civilizations such as agriculture, architecture, textiles, and art were vividly interpreted here.
Artifacts from this period can focus on eagle-shaped pottery beans, clogs and so on.
As precious as the Cultural Relics of Hemudu are Yue kiln porcelain, Ningbo has been firing porcelain since the Eastern Han Dynasty, and by the Tang Dynasty, yue kilns have become the peak period, almost becoming the top area of porcelain at that time.
There are many celadon cultural relics in the Ningbo Museum and they are very exquisite, but my personal favorite is the Tang Dynasty secret color porcelain lotus flower tray and the Tiliang character chicken head pot, of course, tourists who like porcelain can also pay attention to the Changsha kiln brown color fish algae pattern pot.
