In order to actively practice the service concept of "I do practical things for the masses", promote the effective protection and utilization of social cultural relics, and give full play to the positive role of museums in guiding private collections, the museum alliance of "four provinces and four cities" in Zhejiang, Anhui, Fujian and Jiangxi specially invited senior experts in miscellaneous professional fields such as ceramics, calligraphy and painting, and stationery, and planned to carry out public welfare appraisal and consultation activities for private collection of cultural relics free of charge.

Sixth, the activity process

(1) The applicant fills in Annex 1 "Registration Form for Holders of Collections to be Identified and Collection Information" and sends it to the mailbox ([email protected]) for registration, and can call 15307036189 (Huang Ping) for consultation during working hours.

(2) Applicants who have successfully registered, 15 minutes before the start of the event, enter with their valid identity documents, go to the front desk on the first floor of our museum to verify the reservation information, and fill in Annex 2 "Public Welfare Cultural Relics Appraisal Consultation Applicant Commitment Letter".

(3) The items to be submitted for appraisal are limited to 5 pieces per person, and this activity is a free appraisal consultation for public welfare, and no fees are charged.

(4) During the appraisal consultation, the applicant is requested to take good care of the collection and follow the arrangements of the staff, such as the elderly or those with reduced mobility, they can be accompanied by a relative or friend to enter the appraisal consultation room.

7. Activity Statement

(1) The appraisal opinion shall be orally informed to the applicant for reference only. Photography, audio and video recordings are not allowed during the appraisal consultation. If no document is issued, it has no legal effect, it is not used for valuation, it must not be used as evidence, and it does not involve the determination of ownership, auction, pledge, sale, gift, inheritance and any other purposes.

(2) If the appraisal expert discovers that the collection has any of the following circumstances in the process of appraisal and consultation, it will not be appraised, and if it is a cultural relic involved in the case, it will be reported to the relevant department for handling.

1. Illegal excavation, theft, smuggling, or cultural relics that should be handed over to the state in accordance with the law;

2. Cultural relics that are strictly prohibited from trading or circulating by law;

3. It is suspected of harming national interests or might have a negative social impact;

4. The applicant only provides photos of the utensils or exceeds the scope of consultation and appraisal;

5. Other circumstances that do not comply with the provisions of laws and regulations.

(3) The person sending the collection shall bear all responsibility for the safety of the collection.

(4) Shangrao Museum has the final right to interpret the event.
