At 0-24:00 on December 15, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 77 new confirmed cases. Among them, there were 8 imported cases (3 cases in Fujian, 2 cases in Shanghai, 1 case in Hubei, 1 case in Yunnan, and 1 case in Shaanxi), 69 local cases (56 cases in Zhejiang, including 48 cases in Shaoxing City, 5 cases in Ningbo City, and 3 cases in Hangzhou City; 6 cases in Guangdong City, all in Dongguan City; 4 cases in Shaanxi, all in Xi'an City; 2 cases in Inner Mongolia, all in Hulunbuir City; 1 case in Anhui, in Suzhou City), including 2 cases converted from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (all in Guangdong). There were no new deaths. There were no new suspected cases.

On the same day, 31 new cured and discharged cases were cured, 4288 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of severe cases decreased by 3 cases compared with the previous day.

There are 512 confirmed cases imported from overseas (including 5 severe cases) and 1 suspected case. The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 10,528, the cumulative number of cured and discharged cases is 10,016, and there are no deaths.

A total of 29,332 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 12,496 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (12,180 cases discharged from hospital, 213 deaths), 77 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (77 cases discharged from hospital), and 16,759 cases in Taiwan Region (13,742 cases discharged from hospital, 849 deaths).

There were 56 new confirmed cases in Zhejiang

At 0-24:00 on December 15, there were 56 new confirmed cases, including 3 cases in Hangzhou City, 5 cases in Ningbo City, 48 cases in Shaoxing City, and 1 new case of asymptomatic infection (imported from Uganda), and the close contacts who have been screened have been quarantined. As of 24:00 on the 15th, a total of 1,823 confirmed cases (285 imported cases) were reported.

Guangdong has confirmed 6 new local cases

At 0-24:00 on December 15, 6 new local confirmed cases in Guangdong Province were reported in Dongguan, of which 3 cases were found through close investigation, 2 cases were confirmed by asymptomatic infected people, and 1 case was found in nucleic acid screening in key populations. There was a new case of asymptomatic infection in Guangzhou, which was found in the routine nucleic acid testing of the inbound transfer staff.

There were 4 new cases of asymptomatic infection imported from abroad in the province, 3 cases were reported in Guangzhou, from Iran, Serbia and Ethiopia, and 1 case was reported from Shenzhen from Indonesia. One new case was discharged from the hospital, and 56 cases are currently in hospital.

As of 24:00 on December 15, the province has reported a total of 6520 cases of positive COVID-19 infection (4569 cases imported from abroad), of which 3353 cases are confirmed cases (1777 cases are imported from abroad) and 3167 cases are asymptomatic infected people (2792 cases imported from abroad).

There were 2 new confirmed cases in Inner Mongolia

At 0-24:00 on December 15, the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region reported no new suspected cases and asymptomatic infected persons, and 2 new locally confirmed cases (both in Hulunbuir Manzhouli City). 9 new locally confirmed cases were cured and discharged from hospital (all of which were in Manzhouli City, Hulunbuir). The specific circumstances of the new local confirmed cases are as follows:

Confirmed cases 552 to 553: All of them tested positive for nucleic acid in Manzhouli City during the centralized isolation period, and were diagnosed as confirmed cases of new crown pneumonia after consultation by the expert group.

At present, the above-mentioned personnel have been transferred to the designated hospital for isolation and treatment, and the relevant circulation and investigation work is still in progress.

As of 24:00 on December 15, there were 501 locally confirmed cases in the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region (490 cases in Hulunbuir Manzhouli City, 9 cases in Xinbalhu Right Banner; 2 cases of related confirmed cases in Manzhouli City, in Horqin District, Tongliao City). All are isolated and treated in designated hospitals, and all close contacts are centralized in designated places for medical observation to prevent the spread of the epidemic.

Anhui has a new local confirmed case

At 0-24:00 on December 15, 2021, Anhui Province reported 1 new confirmed case (Suzhou City, Wanqiao District), no new suspected cases, no new asymptomatic infected people.

As of 24:00 on December 15, Anhui Province has reported a total of 1,002 locally confirmed cases, and currently treats 1 case in hospital, with a total of 995 cases cured and discharged; 7 cases of confirmed cases imported from abroad and 7 cases cured and discharged; 33,573 people under medical observation and 203 close contacts who are still under medical observation have been reported.

Brief status of newly confirmed cases:

Zhu Mou, male, lives in Shangyu Development Zone, Shaoxing City, Zhejiang Province, and took the high-speed train from Shaoxing to Suzhou's parents- in-law's home on December 11. On December 11-14, home health monitoring, the first negative nucleic acid test on the 12th, and the afternoon of the 14th, the big data was transferred from the village to the centralized isolation point. On the 15th, the nucleic acid test was positive, and after consultation with the municipal expert group, it was diagnosed as a confirmed case of new coronary pneumonia (mild). At present, all disposal work is being carried out in a strong and orderly manner in accordance with regulations.
