According to the statistical analysis of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to November 2021, production and sales continued to reach a new high, with cumulative output exceeding 3 million vehicles and sales close to 3 million vehicles. In November, the market penetration rate of new energy vehicles was 17.8%, which continued to be higher than that of the previous month, of which the market penetration rate of new energy passenger vehicles reached 19.5%.

In November 2021, production and sales of new energy vehicles totaled 457,000 units and 450,000 units, up 1.3 times and 1.2 times year-on-year, respectively. From January to November 2021, the production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 3.023 million units and 2.99 million units, respectively, an increase of 1.7 times year-on-year. The market penetration rate reached 12.7%, higher than in the previous October.
In November 2021, from the perspective of subdivided models, pure electric vehicles increased by 1.2 times and 1.1 times year-on-year, respectively; the production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles increased by 1.6 times and 1.7 times year-on-year, respectively; and the production and sales of fuel cell vehicles fell by 26.4% and 49.3% respectively year-on-year.
From January to November 2021, from the perspective of subdivided models, the production and sales of pure electric vehicles increased by 1.8 times and 1.7 times year-on-year, respectively; the production and sales of plug-in hybrid vehicles increased by 1.3 times and 1.4 times year-on-year, respectively; and the production and sales of fuel cell vehicles increased by 23.0% and 16.0% respectively year-on-year.
