According to the data of the General Administration of Customs of China's Automobile Industry, from January to March 2022, a total of 225,000 vehicles were imported, down 4.4% year-on-year; the import amount of vehicles was 13.95 billion US dollars, an increase of 9.6% year-on-year.
Among the main import varieties of automobiles, compared with the same period last year, the import volume of off-road vehicles increased slightly, and cars and small buses showed a decline. From January to March, a total of 215,000 vehicles were imported from the above three major categories, accounting for 95.6% of the total automobile imports.
