Customs reminds consumers to achieve "three concerns" when purchasing consumer goods through cross-border e-commerce:

The first is to pay attention to the indication of signs. Cross-border e-commerce imported consumer goods logos and instructions generally do not use Chinese, before purchasing or using it is recommended to learn more about the prompt information through the sales page, to avoid health harm caused by improper use and other reasons.

The second is to pay attention to key projects. For example, when purchasing a toothbrush, it is recommended to choose a soft bristle and a rounded bristle top and brush head shape; when purchasing baby clothing, it is recommended to choose a light color, cordless belt, and check whether the buttons and decorative accessories are firm; when purchasing toys and carts, it is recommended to pay attention to small parts, gaps and sharp edges; when purchasing household appliances, it is recommended to pay attention to the working voltage and plug model, if necessary, equipped with a transformer and conversion plug.

The third is to pay attention to after-sales protection. It is recommended that consumers fully understand the relevant provisions of cross-border e-commerce platforms on after-sales service when purchasing cross-border e-commerce imported consumer goods to avoid unnecessary losses.
