Recently, we obtained the declaration information of the domestic BMW X5 L from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. It is understood that the new car has X Drive30 Li and X Drive40 Li two models, will be listed in the first half of 2022.
First of all, from the appearance point of view, the domestic version of BMW X5 and imported models are not much different, using the classic "double kidney" grille with the narrow and long headlight group on both sides, with the lower part of the three-stage encirclement, the overall shape looks very sharp. The taillights of the new car are blackened, and the rear surround is decorated with a silver tail diffuser, and the exhaust is still a classic bilateral layout. The rear of the new car has added the "BMW Brilliance" and "Li" logos, representing the identity of its domestically produced extended model.
In addition, the new car sidewind trim, roof trim can choose silver or black, standard panoramic sunroof, optional laser headlights, as well as ACC adaptive cruise, exterior mirror camera, while the new car also added EDR automotive event data recording system.
The interior part has not been exposed, and it is reported that it will adopt the same interior design as the current imported model.
The body size of the new car is 5060/2004/1779 or 1771mm, and the wheelbase is 3105mm, which is 130mm more in terms of length and wheelbase than the imported model on sale, and has reached the same level as the BMW X7 in terms of wheelbase.
In terms of power, the new car will be equipped with a 2.0T turbocharged four-cylinder engine and a 3.0T turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine. The two engines have a maximum horsepower of 272 hp and 370 hp respectively, and the transmission matches the 8-speed manual transmission and will be equipped with a four-wheel drive system.
It is speculated that the introduction of BMW X5L is mainly to reduce its price, but the specific amount of reduction remains to be seen, and it is hoped that it can be launched into the market as soon as possible, so that we can experience the real car as soon as possible.
