How to find a job

We all aspire to success. If you're going to succeed, Carnegie recommends finding the right job.

Carnegie said there are people who work properly, his spirit is very pleasant, and he sleeps comfortably and sweetly at night. He was able to gradually develop his self-centeredness and sense of responsibility in his work, and always seek new developments. Only those who can have such an interest in work and find such meaning have value in life, which money in the banks and vaults cannot buy.

Carnegie has four suggestions for finding a job:

First, both men and women must find a job that is beneficial to society. The difference in value between a magician with a flexible finger and a pickpocket with a flexible finger is that the magician brings us pleasure and enjoyment, while the pickpocket gives us pain and loss. Therefore, the job sought must be socially beneficial and harmless.

Second, find a job you enjoy. And think about it, what were your favorite games in your childhood? What was the first volunteer to be generated? This favorite game and volunteering may indicate the type of work you work and the direction of development too.

Third, in addition to your own duties, find a side job that is your hobby. Sometimes a proper job can only sustain life without spiritual pleasure, and then you must find a kind of near-sexual affection, a side job that is good for you, as a psychological and spiritual remedy for you.

Fourth, you have to choose your own career. Your profession must be chosen by yourself, not your parents, not your friends, because they are separated from your inner thoughts.

Carnegie said that anyone who is passionate about finding a suitable job will eventually find it; it is unfortunate that he cannot find a suitable job, but it is not that there is no job in the world that is suitable for him, but that he does not want to find it, he does not want to work!

However, Carnegie said, for those who are willing to work, eager to work, and are sullen at work, we really can't bear to criticize them, because maybe the work they do is really inappropriate. Carnegie divided people who didn't fit the job into three categories:

The first category is some of the victims of the Industrial Revolution. Although they have learned a good craft, they can't use it now, and they can't find a proper position. For example, in the past, blacksmithing and pot repair were all good crafts, and there was almost no place for use in the cities of the industrial era, and even in the countryside.

The second category is those who have been pampered by their parents since childhood and have indulged their character badly. Although they are forced by life or environment to work, they are not interested in any job and feel that all kinds of work are not suitable for them. Now some of the so-called rich second generation and star second generation are like this. The only thing I want to say about these rich and famous people who raise "little emperors" or "huan zhu ge ge" is that your wealth has also been obtained through hardships, please do not deprive your children and grandchildren of the right to start a business or feel the hardships of life.

The third category is those who are willing to do the work, to do the work, and who are working now. They work diligently, with good grades and respect, but in themselves, they always feel unhappy, and always feel that this job is not suitable for him.

Carnegie said that most people's so-called unsuitable jobs are all mismatched. Because they don't adjust their work at all. Only people whose hearts and feelings are mature can dominate their work and feel happy and joyful.

In my opinion, there can be three realms in the work of modern people: working for ideals, working for work, and working for life, and combining ideals, work, and life is the highest state of work. But how many people around us, around you, are in perfect working order? Maybe others are envious of your work and life, but you still feel unsatisfied, and you don't even feel happy and happy. Just a little earlier in my writing today, I saw the news that the pianist Li Yundi had been arrested by the Beijing police for prostitution, and it occurred to me that Li should be the emotional immature person that Carnegie said, that is, the person we usually say "I don't know the blessing in the blessings."

If you want to survive and succeed, please find a suitable job and make yourself a mature person.
