At the 2021 show, Both Ford and Honda brought their own exhibits. Ford said that they will better emphasize personalized vehicles and parts through their own way, and users can purchase them online and at dealers. Honda has not made any statement on the withdrawal.
2022 SEMA said that Chevrolet, GMC, Toyota, Lexus, Nissan and other OEMs have clearly stated that they will participate in the exhibition as scheduled. At the same time, Stellantis will return as a group, and the Volkswagen brand will also participate in the exhibition.
