At the 2021 Shanghai Auto Show, Toyota showcased the bZ4X concept car. Under the wave of new energy, Toyota has created an exclusive platform that can cover a variety of power models such as HEV/PHEV/BEV/FCEV. From the perspective of model naming, the bZ in bZ4X is a pure electric exclusive series, the full English name is Beyound Zero, which means that it is a value idea to surpass zero emissions. The number 4 represents the dimensions of the vehicle, and the English letter X represents the SUV model
Faw Toyota bZ4X adopts a hanging shark exterior design, a large area of sealing of the front bumper, and embedded aerodynamic components echo the black trim and bumper shape on both sides of the front. Air currents on both sides of the front bar can be directed to the front wheels to form an air curtain to reduce wind resistance. The headlights and front cover lines are integrated, the slender headlights group widens the width of the front, and its interior consists of multiple lenses, and the LED daytime running lights are connected to the chrome trim to form a through-shape.
On the side of the body, the BZ4X's A-pillar tilt angle is large, and the entire line extends to the C-pillar and then drops rapidly. And the whole vehicle uses a lot of sharp lines to emphasize the sense of futurism and technology. The vehicle's fast and slow charging interface is located on the left and right front fenders. In terms of body size, the length, width and height values are 4690/1860/1650mm, and the wheelbase reaches 2850mm. Toyota designed a solar panoramic sunroof on the roof, and according to official estimates, the solar panel sunroof can generate 1800km of electricity per year for the vehicle.
The rear shape is also very recognizable, and the design under the taillights echoes the design of the front part of the car. The through-style taillight set has a sense of a step up. The spoiler on the roof is also designed in a split. There is also a black ducktail spoiler under the rear windshield, combined with the diffuser under the upper rear bumper and the ventilation hole under the front bumper, which not only reduces the wind resistance, but also directs air to the battery pack for heat dissipation.
In terms of interior, it has changed the ordinary of Toyota products in the past, but it has retained the essence of Toyota's genes, that is, intuitive and convenient. The new car's full LCD instrument panel and large central control screen are both designed in a suspension. Below the central control screen is a control area that combines touch buttons and physical buttons, which can intuitively control the volume of the car system and the air conditioning system. There are also some driving-related physical buttons under the central air conditioning outlet, behind the buttons is a storage space with a cover, there is a large storage space in the rear, and there is also a large hollow storage space under the center console, just in a central passage part of the center console, toyota bZ4X has left a lot of storage space.

As another traditional car company that has fully entered the new energy market, Toyota has made full preparations for the domestic bZ4X. Entering the pure electric model market, whether FAW Toyota bz4X can be accepted by consumers also needs to speak with sales data.
