It is worth mentioning that Baojun 730 is deeply liked by consumers after its listing, and even the monthly sales volume in the MPV market is second only to Wuling Hongguang. It can be said that the Baojun 730 was undoubtedly a successful model at that time.
Recently, we learned from saic-GM-Wuling that the brand is about to launch a new MPV, which is the new silver label MPV Jiachen, and the new car will open pre-sale on April 28.
This new car is not a brand new model, but an iterative product of Baojun 730, only this time it is a new silver label. It is reported that the pre-price of the new car will be 70,000-100,000 yuan.
From the appearance point of view, Wuling Jiachen and Baojun 730 have a very similar design, but the body size is longer than the latter. In addition, the new car also canceled the original black body encirclement on the Baojun 730, and adopted a design of the same color as the body, which is more refined overall.
It is worth saying that Wuling Jiachen, like the Baojun 730, is not equipped with a side sliding door, which is a little regrettable. After all, for MPV, there is no side sliding door, and for the third row of passengers, getting on and off is not convenient.
Fortunately, in terms of seat layout, the new car adopts a 2+2+3 layout, of which the second row uses two independent seats, and is equipped with independent armrests, front and rear sliding, backrest adjustment and other functions. It is worth saying that the second row slides forward and backward by up to 120mm, so it can bring quite a lot of space to the second row without the need for a seat in the third row.
In addition, the third row of seats in the new car can also be reclined in 4/6 proportions, which can further expand the trunk space.
In terms of power, the new car is no different from the Baojun 730, which is still equipped with a 1.5T turbocharged engine, with a maximum power of 108kW, a peak torque of 250Nm, and a CVT or 6-speed manual transmission in the transmission system.
