Disadvantage two: not cost-effective
Although the cost of charging electric vehicles is cheaper than the price of oil, the maintenance cost is very high, especially if there is a problem with the battery, tens of thousands of repair costs at every turn, or even hundreds of thousands of maintenance costs, it is better to buy a new car again.
In addition, the cost of new energy vehicle insurance is also much more expensive than that of fuel vehicles, compared to the same price of oil vehicles almost 20% more expensive, plus the same level of trams than the oil car at least tens of thousands of yuan higher price difference, and then to change the battery when you have to spend a lot of money. All this money is used to refuel, even in today's oil price of nine, it should be considered rich.
Disadvantage three: low retention rate
Then there is the retention rate, it can be said that electric vehicles are not preserved, and the degree of depreciation has a fight with mobile phones, because the speed of electric vehicle update iteration is too fast, one generation a year, two years behind, three years of elimination is really not exaggerated. In addition, some of the warranties of many manufacturers are only for the first car owner, which further exacerbates the phenomenon that electric vehicles do not maintain their value.

For consumers who are really looking to get started with a tram, safety is definitely the first factor to consider. What's more, since 2019, the spontaneous combustion of trams has been frequently exposed, especially the safety accidents of head companies such as Weilai, Xiaopeng and Tesla, which have led to the concerns of users of their favorite trams.
Disadvantage five: endurance problem
In winter, the endurance problem is very painful, especially in northern cities, when it is more than ten degrees below zero, the electric car loses power very quickly, theoretically lasting 500 kilometers, in fact, it can only run 250 kilometers. And summer also has the same problem, that is, after the temperature exceeds 30 degrees, the battery life will also be seriously affected. Even if the speed is too fast, the mileage will also be affected, so electric vehicles are very inappropriate in many scenarios.
In the face of high oil prices and the anxiety of electric vehicles, most people will consider hybrid models instead, because it not only combines the advantages of trams and oil vehicles, but also avoids the disadvantages of trams.
