At the age when I gave birth to the little pearl, others may have run all over the place, plus the blood pressure has always been high, and when I was eight months pregnant, I was already in the pre-epileptic period. Lazy feeding is not advisable

At first, pearls were not very good at eating, so I took the bottle and squeezed it into her mouth, and miraculously did not choke (the human instinct to swallow is so strong). It took a day or two for her to unlock her sucking skills and start feeding normally.

At that time, I really didn't understand anything, just knew that breast milk was good, how hungry the child was, to what extent to eat enough, completely ignorant, sleepy at night, feeding the child, the child was not full I fell asleep. As a result, after a week of going to the pediatric department for review, it was less than three or two. The nurse yelled at me with a straight face and said that I was incompetent and that my children would not have enough to eat every day.

He also said that "she is not necessarily full when she drinks until she falls asleep, it may be tired of eating", and "the child sucks milk harder than eating the bottle, and the probability of being tired to fall asleep is greater", "The milk is not enough to be fed all the time, the more the child eats, the more milk the more, but the breast milk must be added before eating, and the child cannot be hungry waiting for your milk to be enough" These things were not known before. Determined not to be lazy again, he also spent a lot of money on breast milk enhancers and special formula for premature/low-weight babies.

But I was still lazy, and when the child was hungry at night, I still symbolically fed the child two mouthfuls, and perfunctory that she did not cry. Breast milk enhancer because you have to suck the milk out and add it and then feed it, after feeding you have to brush the bottle, it is also very troublesome, and the child sometimes has a large amount of food, after eating to eat, the above process has to be repeated again, sometimes the amount of food is very small, eat two bites do not eat, the hard-working milk and the high-priced purchase of the enhancer will be thrown away, so although it is not good to eat, only eat one or two a day.

After another 10 days of re-examination, although the child is a little longer, there are still not many, and the last time the nurse saw through my laziness at a glance, and once again reiterated the importance and urgency of the child's catching up with growth.

From that day on, I actively fed every day, added a booster to each meal, and ate up to 14 bars a day! At night, the child is hungry, and he has to get up to warm up the milk and make milk powder, and no longer perfunctory her. At home, you can suck the milk, suck it well and freeze it, and ensure that the child has rations at any time.

In order to make it easy for her to suck the bottle, she also changed the bottle with ventilation holes to try to feed the baby every meal. At that time, I really understood what "feeding diligently" is, that is, adults go out all night without sleeping, but also have to feed the milk to the mouth at the first time when the child is hungry.

Although it is very hard, the weight of the child is really long! At first, one pound grew in ten days, and then one pound in six days. The child's two-month physical examination has grown to more than 10 pounds, 58 cm long, and the head circumference has grown to 38.5 cm. The pediatrician looked at her and thought it was a three-month-old child, and when she registered, she thought she had taken the wrong file.

There are a few points that may be useful in summarizing feeding experiences:

1. Whether it is a vaginal birth or a caesarean section, the secretion of breast milk requires a process, not too much at the beginning, but do not doubt yourself, let the child eat hard, in most cases can do more and more.

2. Whether the child has eaten enough to see if he can sleep steadily after eating milk, if he sleeps and wakes up, he is still not full, and he must be able to sleep peacefully and steadily for 1 to 2 hours.

3. If the bottle-fed child has eaten all the milk in the bottle, it is best to add 20 to 30 ml of milk, so that there is a surplus every time to ensure that the child is full. Mothers who suspect that their breast milk is not enough, if they are afraid that their children will not have enough to eat, they can also take the method of adding milk powder to the baby with a bottle.
