On March 9 this year, Mazda officially released a new mid-size SUV CX-60 in overseas markets, which adopts a 5-seat design and is larger than the CX-5 sold in China. Recently, the Mazda CX-60 real car has been unveiled again, which reflects the visual effect of the vehicle more realistically than the official picture. It is worth noting that the currently known target markets for the CX-60 include Japan and Europe, and there is still no clear news on whether it will enter the Chinese market.
The new car is still built with a SPA expandable modular architecture, the appearance and cabin have not changed much, and it is mainly optimized for intelligent configuration and power system. In terms of color, the deluxe version provides 8 kinds of crystal white, lava red, agate black, denim blue, pine forest gray, glitter silver gray, butterfly shell gray, and morning light silver, and the sports version lacks 2 kinds of denim blue and pine forest gray.
In terms of body size, the length, width and height are 4708/1902/1658mm, respectively, and the wheelbase is 2865mm. The front and rear tires measure 235/55 R19 and feature a double five-spoke rim design, with a more atmospheric and sporty side style that looks wild.
Inside the car, the interior shape of the Volvo XC60 is very elaborate, with white chrome stitching, rich and compact detail processing, but also highlights the fineness of the interior. At the same time, the whole series of models of this car is also equipped with engine start-stop technology, fatigue driving tips, full speed domain adaptive cruise and other configurations, and the performance in the configuration is not bad, bringing a comfortable use experience for drivers and passengers.
There is no change in the side, with a short front overhang, a long wheelbase ratio, considering the increase in the volume of the tail compartment, the length of the rear overhang is slightly longer, but overall and the wheels are relatively close to the four corners, which has won more space for the carriage. The overall waistline of the body is raised, making the side windows look relatively flat, and the cockpit part shrinks inward in the C-pillar part, creating a clear shoulder and reducing the effect of wind resistance. In terms of details, the Deluxe model features chrome trim in the luggage rack, window line and skirt section, while the Sport model features a more dynamic smoked black.
The new Volvo XC60 brings a more energy-efficient and more powerful 2.0T+48V powertrain, in addition to the B4, B5 high and low power two power, also available with plug-in hybrid technology T8 model options. Take the most popular B5 model, with a maximum power of 250 horsepower and a peak torque of 350 Nm. The official 0-100km/h acceleration performance is 7.1s, and the comprehensive fuel consumption of 100 km is as low as 7.3 liters.
