On March 17, BYD Ocean Network's first sedan, DM-i Super Hybrid Technology Exclusive Series Warship Series debut model - Destroyer 05 launched. Destroyer 05 has officially entered the compact sedan market with DM-i supermix technology as the core. A total of five models were released in the Destroyer 05, which are priced at 119,800 to 155,800 yuan after comprehensive subsidies.
As the first model of the warship series, the destroyer 05 series on the power system is only equipped with a power unit of DM-i super hybrid technology, which is composed of core components such as the 1.5L high-efficiency engine for Xiaoyun-plug hybrid, the EHS electric hybrid system and the DM-i special power blade battery with a thermal efficiency of up to 43.04%.
Among them, the EHS electromissing system adopts ultra-high speed dual motor, small size, high power, the maximum efficiency of the motor can reach 97.5%, and the comprehensive efficiency is as high as 98.5%. BYD's self-developed IGBT4.0 electronic control enables the destroyer 05 to achieve an electric and oil-supplemented driving mode, while the DM-i dedicated power blade battery can more efficiently match the charge and discharge needs of the DM-i system while ensuring battery safety, and finally achieve an ultra-low fuel consumption performance of 3.8 liters per 100 kilometers, as well as a comprehensive cruising range of more than 1200 kilometers with full fuel.
Externally, the design of the front face grille of the destroyer 05 is inspired by the ripples of the waves, and the visual width of the vehicle is further stretched through the teardrop-like lattice and staggered decorative strips. The destroyer 05 series adopts LED Star Glow battleship headlights, and the recognizable through-the-day running lights combine with the decorative strips above to further enhance the sense of science and technology.
In terms of interior design, the destroyer 05 uses minimalist lines naturally extending from the central control panel to both sides, creating a very layered interior space collocation, "two large and one small" innovative combination, that is, 12.8-inch adaptive rotation suspension Pad (high-end 15.6 inches) and 8.8-inch full LCD dashboard and a small knob-type gear shift button of the operator station, creating a sense of technology.
In terms of color matching, the interior color of the destroyer 05 is also composed of four innovative colors: basalt black, sky gray, quantum high-brightness gray and jacaranda pink, forming just the right embellishment under the gray and black tone, instantly lifting the overall high-grade texture.
In terms of configuration, the destroyer 05 has more than seventeen high-value standard configurations, including 12.8-inch adaptive rotation suspension Pad (high-end 15.6 inches), LED daytime running lights, keyless entry, TPMS direct tire pressure monitoring system, one-key start, automatic air conditioning, rear exhaust air outlet, fixed speed cruise, exterior mirror electric adjustment + heating, etc. The high-end model also provides 5G network speed connection for young users.
The destroyer 05 intelligent technology is particularly outstanding. It is equipped with a DiLink intelligent network connection system, which supports intelligent voice interaction function, K song mode, vehicle OTA remote upgrade + intelligent cloud service. DiPilot Intelligent Driver Assistance System provides users with advanced intelligent driving assistance functions including active braking, lane keeping, adaptive cruise, pedestrian identification/protection, etc., which significantly improves the convenience and safety of travel.
It is worth mentioning that the 120KM version of the Destroyer 05 also adds VTOL mobile power station, 17kW DC fast charging port and other functions.
