A total of 5 models of the new car were released, and the price after comprehensive subsidies was 119,800-155,800 yuan.

As the first model of the warship series, the destroyer 05 adopts BYD's latest "battleship" series model design language, the new grille with large-size horizontal multi-line layout and the LED headlights on both sides are naturally integrated, and the high-end model also provides "intelligent far and near light", compared to the Dynasty series models covered by all users, the warship series pays more attention to the fashion design of the vehicle.

In terms of interior design, the destroyer 05 uses minimalist lines to naturally extend from the central control panel to both sides, creating a layered interior space match. The 12.8-inch adaptive rotating suspension central control screen (with a high-end 15.6-inch) and 8.8-inch full LCD dashboard has become the interior matching style of BYD's new generation of products.

At the intelligent level, the new car is equipped with DiLink intelligent network system, which supports intelligent voice interaction, vehicle OTA remote upgrade + intelligent cloud service. DiPilot Intelligent Driver Assistance provides advanced intelligent driver assistance features including active braking, lane keeping, adaptive cruise, pedestrian recognition/protection, and more.

In terms of power system, the destroyer 05 did not continue the pure electric idea of the ocean series, but instead carried the current hot-selling DM-i super hybrid technology. The Dm-i hybrid system consists of core components such as the 43.04% thermal efficiency of the Snap Cloud-Plug-In Hybrid 1.5L high-efficiency engine, the EHS electric hybrid system and the DM-i special power blade battery, and is currently used in many bydir models.

Among them, the EHS electromix system adopts an ultra-high speed dual motor with a maximum efficiency of 97.5% of the motor, and with a comprehensive efficiency of 98.5% BYD's self-developed IGBT4.0 electronic control, so that the destroyer 05 can achieve an electric and oil-supplemented driving mode. With the blessing of the DM-i hybrid system, the fuel consumption of the destroyer 05 per 100 kilometers is as low as 3.8L/100km, and the comprehensive cruising range is more than 1200km in the full oil and power state.

In addition, the 120KM version of the Destroyer 05 also adds functions such as VTOL mobile power station and 17kW DC fast charging port, which is more convenient for users to use in multiple scenarios.

If only by parameters, the destroyer 05 is highly consistent with BYD's current car sales pillar Qin PLUS DM-i in terms of model positioning in terms of powertrain. But for BYD, from the construction of the ocean network, it is intended to further enhance BYD's brand positioning.

Therefore, in terms of vehicle design concept and scientific and technological configuration, the destroyer 05 obviously has a more high-end quality positioning idea than the Dynasty Network products. However, unlike the other stoves of Lynk & Co and WEY, the construction of BYD Ocean Network is closer to the creation of the Changan UNI series, and under the same brand, the new product concept will undoubtedly bring BYD a new market vitality outside the Dynasty Network.

It is worth noting that under the premise that the dual platforms of Dynasty Network and e-Net are unfavorable, BYD quickly changed its brand strategy, due to the rapid development of the new energy market, BYD has fully turned to new energy, no longer chooses to divide fuel products and new energy products, but launches marine networks to replace e-networks, thereby creating differentiation of subdivided products.

The new ocean network, relying on e-platform 3.0 technology and DM-i super hybrid technology, has further evolved into a series of marine organisms and warships. So far, BYD, as the leader of the transformation of traditional car companies to electrification, has achieved multi-point coverage at the end of new energy products.

BYD, which is more accurately positioned, has also obtained good market feedback in the market, in addition to the rapid growth of sales of Dynasty.com, which has opened the market, after fully switching to new technologies, the first marine network product listed last year also showed BYD's unique technical advantages under differentiation. From January to February 2022, BYD Dolphin sold a total of 19,163 units, ranking fourth in the new energy car market, while the top three were Hongguang MINI EV, BYD Song and BYD Han.

Obviously, the leading technical dimension has helped BYD gain full recognition from the market, and in February, BYD, which is still in the period of rising production capacity, surpassed SAIC Volkswagen with new energy products and came to the second place in the sales ranking of manufacturers, realizing the same stage competition with fuel vehicles, and thus joining the ranks of first-line automobile manufacturers.

Under this premise, BYD also continues to greet its own product year, according to the latest exposure information, BYD marine life series will release three new products in the second and third quarters of this year, and the cruiser 07 of the warship series has also been put on the release schedule. It is undeniable that under the background of technology support, BYD, which has rapidly adjusted its product strategy, is continuing to consolidate its leading position in the new energy market. With the addition of the warship series, Ocean Network is also expected to grow into a new platform comparable to Dynasty Network and lead the continuous upward development of the BYD brand.
