At the same time, the "Catalogue of Recommended Models for the Promotion and Application of New Energy Vehicles" (the second batch in 2022) and the "Catalogue of New Energy Vehicle Models Exempted from Vehicle Purchase Tax" (the 52nd batch) released by the official website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology show that evergrande new energy vehicles (Tianjin) Co., Ltd. Hengchi brand multi-purpose passenger cars (HDE6470BEVA0F, HDE6470BEVA1F), that is, "Hengchi 5", are among them. This means that "Hengchi 5" has obtained the qualification for production and sales, and can obtain the national new energy vehicle purchase subsidy.
On March 14, Evergrande Automobile (00708. HK) edged higher after the opening, with the highest intraday gain of 5.4% at HK$3.32 per share. Evergrande Automobile closed at HK$2.99 per share, down 5%.
According to the official website of Evergrande Automobile, its first car, Hengchi 5, will be officially listed in the second quarter of this year. According to the planning previously disclosed by Evergrande Automobile, as the first model launched by Evergrande Automobile, Hengchi 5 positioned A-class SUV, priced at less than 200,000 yuan, is the lowest positioning and cheapest model among the 9 models of Hengchi Automobile, compared with Audi Q3, BMW X1 and other models, NEDC cruising range of more than 700 kilometers.
According to market sources, from the current rhythm, Hengchi 5 is likely to open pre-sales at the Beijing Auto Show in April this year.
At present, Evergrande Automobile has released an advertisement for high-paying recruitment of automobile sales consultants. Judging from the recruitment posters, the company employs high-paying auto sales consultants in 15 cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Tianjin, Shenzhen, Zhengzhou, Hangzhou, Chengdu, Chongqing, Wuhan, Nanjing, Changsha, Xi'an, Hefei and Haikou.
On March 2, Hengchi New Energy Vehicle Sales Co., Ltd. was established with a registered capital of 100 million yuan, the legal representative is Tang Lin, and its business scope includes: sales of new energy vehicle power exchange facilities; sales of charging piles; operation of electric vehicle charging infrastructure; and online reservation taxi operation services.
Hengchi New Energy is 100% owned by Evergrande New Energy Automobile Investment Holding Group Co., Ltd.
The ride-hailing platform is an important channel to drive the early sales of new energy vehicles. Referring to the experience of other OEMs, Hengchi has established a new company that includes online ride-hailing services, which is believed to be in preparation for the rapid opening of sales of Hengchi's new cars after they are listed.
