The online car market learned that Changan New Energy will release the CD brand on the eve of the Beijing Auto Show in April, and the first new energy vehicle will also open pre-sale at the same time. From the perspective of time nodes, this model is about C385, and the new car will be divided into pure electric "high-end" CD brands. The C385 is 4800mm long, has a wheelbase of 2880mm, and the overall vehicle size crushes the Tesla Model 3. In terms of price, it is expected that the starting price of C385 will be about 150,000 yuan, which is more cost-effective than Model 3.
The first model of the Changan CD brand, the C385, is based on the EPA1 pure electric platform, and the design style is similar to UNI-V, so it can also be regarded as a "pure electric version" of UNI-V. The new car is mid-sized, larger than the Tesla Model 3, but slightly inferior to the Xiaopeng P7. In addition to the pure electric version of the model, the C385 will also launch a plug-in hybrid version and a hydrogen fuel cell version in the future.
