Recently, foreign media exposed the high-definition road test photos of the Mazda CX-60 model. The new car is the first SUV model of the brand's new longitudinal architecture platform, and the official has exposed its trailer at the beginning of the year, revealing that the car will actually be launched worldwide on March 8.
From the spy photos, the test car is still covered by strict camouflage, but the external contour of the vehicle can still be clearly seen, the front face is the brand's signature "soul movement" design language, and the inside of the grille is filled with black dot matrix medium net, with a clearly protruding trapezoidal under the encirclement, looking stylish and sporty.
Combined with the previously exposed trailer, we can see that the new car also integrates the LED strip into the headlights, and connects with the middle network to form a popular open corner design, with a stronger sense of the whole and a more vibrant sense of life.
Although the specific size information is not clear, this CX-60 should be a medium-sized SUV model, and as a product of the longitudinal platform, the characteristics of short front suspension and long wheelbase are particularly evident on this car, especially the position of the A-pillar, which is significantly moved backwards compared to the CX-50 (transverse platform) that has been released.
From the rear, the new car adopts a relatively low-key bilateral four-out exhaust design (which may also be fake), and the taillights seem to incorporate black elements to further highlight the sports atmosphere.
In the powertrain part, foreign media revealed that the new car will be equipped with a 2.5L self-priming engine, an electric drive module and a plug-in hybrid system based on a 6AT transmission, and its comprehensive power may exceed 300 horsepower.
As for the fuel version, Mazda's newly developed vertical platform has two new engines, inline four-cylinder turbocharging and inline six-cylinder turbo, which are expected to appear on this car in the future.
