Autohome News, some media exposed a set of suspected BYD seals of the latest road test spy photos, the model is another new product of THE BYD Marine series.
The new car will be built based on BYD's e platform 3.0, and the future price range may be about 220,000-280,000.

Volvo's new compact SUV C40 will be produced by Volvo Asia Pacific (Taizhou manufacturing plant).
The new car is currently launched with three models, and the pre-price range is 267,000-32.80 million yuan. The new car is equipped with a 69-78kWh capacity battery and a CLTC service life of 530-550 km.

The State Administration for Market Regulation issued the announcement of "Beijing Benz Automobile Co., Ltd. Recalls Some EQC Electric Vehicles".
Effective August 15, 2022, a total of 10,104 EQC electric vehicles with production dates between November 30, 2018 and December 15, 2021 will be recalled.
The reason for the recall is that due to the manufacturing deviation of the electric drive module, the cooling system in the electric drive module of the vehicle may have insufficient sealing, resulting in coolant leakage.
It is reported that if the coolant is slightly infiltrated into the motor, the insulation resistance value of the high-voltage system may be reduced after long-term use, and the vehicle may not be able to start in extreme cases.
Coolant leakage does not meet the requirements of the relevant national mandatory standards on the sealing of the cooling system, under extreme conditions, the output power of the electric drive module of the vehicle will be reduced, and there is a safety hazard.
1. Volkswagen intends to acquire Huawei's autonomous driving division
According to Reuters, Germany's Volkswagen Group is in talks with Huawei to acquire its autonomous driving division.
The deal has been negotiated for months, involving a technology system that Volkswagen has not yet mastered, involving billions of euros.

2. NHTSA launched an investigation into 416,000 Tesla vehicles for "ghost brakes"

3. Ford and Volvo join the Redwood battery recycling program

At present, Redwood is already recycling battery block material from Tesla Gigafactory in Nevada, which has the ability to process 6 GWh batteries per year, and Redwood also plans to build a new 100 GWh battery material factory in the United States to enter the positive and negative electrode production field.
4. Nissan plans to invest $500 million to renovate its U.S. factory
According to Reuters, Nissan motor vehicles said it plans to invest $500 million to modify its U.S. assembly plant near Canton, Mississippi, to produce two new electric vehicles in 2025. In addition, the company is also looking for a new battery plant site in the United States.
Nissan said it plans to account for 40 percent of sales of electric vehicles in the U.S. market by 2030.
Previously, Nissan motor said in November 2021 that it plans to invest 2 trillion yen (about $17.6 billion) over the next five years to promote the electrification of more products and intend to turn it into a pillar of the company's long-term growth.
