What is the Three Kingdoms period?

History is always changing inadvertently. Strictly speaking, the Three Kingdoms began in the first year of Jian'an (196 AD), when Cao Caoxi (Luoyang) welcomed the Han Emperor Liu Tou Xuchang, when the Cao clique held high the banner of righteousness and relied on Xuchang to fight in four directions. Gradually eliminated Yuan Shao in Hebei, Lü Bu in Xuzhou, Zhang Xiu in Nanyang, Liu Biao in Jingzhou, Zhang Mi in Gunzhou, Li Feng and Guo Dai in the northwest (formerly Dong Zhuo group), and only the powerful Western Shu "Liu Bei" and Eastern Wu "Sun Quan" cliques remained. Cao Cao died of illness in Luoyang on May 15, 220, at the age of 65, due to years of conquest. Cao Cao's second son Cao Pi succeeded to the Wei throne, and in 221 AD (Jian'an 25), emperor Liu Xie of the Han Dynasty was coerced and placed in Cao Pi with the era name "Huang Chu" (221 AD) and the state name "Wei", which was known as "Cao Wei". At this point, the magnificent historical period of the Three Kingdoms officially began. In 222 AD, Liu Bei was proclaimed emperor in Chengdu, known in history as "Shu Han"; in May 229 (the first year of Huanglong), Sun Quan was proclaimed emperor in Ezhou, Hubei Province, historically known as "Sun Wu"; since the Qin and Han Dynasties, there was a period of division between three regimes at the same time in Chinese history, which is called the "Three Kingdoms Period" by historians.
