The Three Kingdoms are full of storms, waves, conspiracies, and conspiracies, and they want to say that they will rest. A "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" has made the Three Kingdoms the most familiar historical period in the minds of the Chinese people. The recent hit "Wind Rises Longxi" is still based on the Three Kingdoms as the background, but unlike the previous Three Kingdoms costume dramas, "Wind Rises Longxi" changes the narrative mode of the previous grand war scene as the main line, the sword goes sideways, telling the spy war drama between the three countries, which is called the costume spy war suspense drama by the audience. Although the story in the play is thrilling, it is still the novelist's words after all, but today the protagonist of our story, Zhou She, has contributed to us a real spy war drama during the Three Kingdoms period.
1. Zhou Qiren
If we talk about the most well-known spy war drama during the Three Kingdoms period, it is zhou yu who used Jiang Gan to play a counter-plan, causing Cao Cao to kill Cai Mao and Zhang Yun, who were submissive to him, and when Cao Cao felt that something was wrong, Zhang and Cai's heads were already hanging high on the head of the camp, and Cao Cao secretly suffered from embarrassment, but there was nothing he could do.
Compared with Zhou Yu, Zhuge Liang, Guo Jia and other first-class strategists of the Three Kingdoms, Zhou Qu was much inferior in both wisdom and popularity. The "Romance of the Three Kingdoms" only has a few pages of records about him, and although there are not many deeds, they make us feel the dark tide of the Three Kingdoms.
Zhou Bream, Zi Zi Yu, Wu Junyang Envy. The Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms says that he was "less studious, filial piety, the head of the Ning Dynasty, and turned to Huai'an." Immediately after, the book records two deeds of Zhou Qu, although brief, it can be seen that Zhou Qu is extraordinary. The first thing was that at that time, Qian Tang had a person named Peng Shi, "Ants gathered for Kou", Sun Quan appointed Zhou Qu as the Marquis of Qian Tang, and between the tenth month, Zhou Qu beheaded Peng Shi and other bandits.
The second thing is that during the reign of Sun Quan and Huang Wu, there were bandits in Poyang County, and the bandits attacked the city, Sun Quan still took Zhou Qu as the Taishou of Poyang, and after Zhou Quan arrived at office, he fought with Hu Zong to fight against the bandits, easily breaking through the bandits and quelling the rebellion.

In terms of these two things, what Zhou Qu did was just a small thing to quell the bandits, which seemed to be not worth mentioning, but in fact, these were all appetizers. It should be that Sun Quan saw that Zhou Qu was brave and strategic, and his ability was superior, so he gave Zhou Qu a major event that was a hundred times more important than quelling the bandits--using a trick to deceive Cao Xiu and lure Cao Xiu into being deceived.
2. The deception of hair loss
At that time, wei and Wu were at war, and the Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms said that Zhou Qu "was ordered to secretly ask the old clan commander in the mountains to be known to the northern enemy, and ordered him to provoke Sima Yangyang of Wei to mu Cao Xiu." That is to say, in order to win the war, Sun Quan asked Zhou Qu to go to the mountains to find those who had contacts with the north, and let them design to gain the trust of Cao Xiu, the mu of Yangzhou, to lure Cao Xiu into the trap, and to give Sun Wu the opportunity to defeat Cao Xiu.

At this time, Zhou Qu's strategy and courage beyond ordinary people were revealed, and he replied to Sun Quan: "Fearing that the people's handsome clown is not enough to be appointed, things or leaks, can not cause rest, beg relatives Qi Mu seven articles to induce rest." Zhou Bream felt that the small fish and shrimp in the mountains were not enough, and he was willing to use himself as bait to catch Cao Xiu on the hook. Zhou Qu sent a letter to Cao Xiu, divided into seven articles, stating his plan for Cao Xiu's "bold loyalty" and "cooperation between inside and outside", which was written at a fairly high level, and Cao Xiu almost believed Zhou Xiu.
The first is: "The bream is blessed with a thousand years, and the people of the state are prepared, far away from the mountains and rivers, respectful and unobtrusive, looking forward to the long-term vision, and the heavens are real." Zhou Qu obviously knows the art of speaking very well, and at the beginning of the letter, he did not directly express his heart, but confessed to Cao Xiu, meaning that although he and Cao Xiu were far away from the mountains and rivers, his admiration for Cao Xiu was like a gushing river, endless. Every time I think that I can't meet Cao Xiu, "I don't want to sigh and toss and turn", it is simply more numb than men and women talking to each other. At the end, Zhou Qu also said that it was really not easy to send his relatives to send him this letter this time, "At the time of the gap, how can we achieve this because of the gap in the present, and we have the ambition of Chen Su's past, and if it is not inspired by God."

Second, Zhou Qu recounted the grievances he had suffered against Sun Wu: "Those who have been punished are blamed for being blamed, the misfortune is missing, the danger is to throw eggs, it is appropriate to enter and go, and there is a blame for the death of false accusations, although the ambition is slight, there is no section." May it be not what it is, and may it not be discouraged! Presumably, this means that although he Zhou Qu had a pure heart, he did not expect to suffer from Sun Quan's unreasonable suspicion because of the bandits, which made him very afraid, so he proposed that he would surrender to Cao Xiu, hoping that Cao Xiu could "beg for the run of spring, mourn his urgency, no longer suspect, and give up his orders."

After the meat and hemp words were finished, the next thing to say was to actually lure Cao Xiu to the bait. Zhou Qu first threw out the past of the former Poyang Taishou Wang Jing being suspected by Sun Quan for no reason, implying that Cao Xiu himself was the same as Wang Jing, and then he and Cao Xiu fully entrusted Sun Wu's "battle plan" - "the proprietor is a submerged general, trying to advance north", Sun Quan would send the main force of Eastern Wu to hefei, Xiangyang, Meishi and other places in several ways, Sun Quan personally led troops to attack Shiting, which led to the weakness of Eastern Wu's defensive strength in Anhui, and Cao Xiu could take this opportunity to attack Sun Wuwan City. If Cao Xiu led the army to Kou Wandi, he Zhou Qu could "lead the people from the ten thousand officials and think that they should be internally responded."
Speaking of this, Zhou Qu was still afraid that Cao Xiu would not believe it, so he stressed that the two people who sent him the letter were his closest people, "like sons" and "flesh and blood relatives, no ones who know.". In order to dispel Cao Xiu's doubts, Zhou Also offered to let Cao Xiu take one of the two people who delivered the letter as a hostage to ensure trust between the two.
In the letter, Zhou Qu was discussing the feasibility of this plan, and Zhou Qu said that although the bandits in the mountains of Poyang territory had temporarily subsided, these bandits were stubborn, and now Sun Wu had thrown out his troops, and the domestic defense force was weak, and once he Zhou Qu instigated these mountain bandits to cooperate with Cao Xiuli, he would be able to succeed. Zhou Qu was very confident in this plan, saying that "the bream was born in Jiangsu and Huaihuai, is good at current affairs, sees its convenience, has achieved every success, and does not come again when the time comes, and dares not be heartfelt." "A hundred victories, the time will not come again" can be described as meaningful, and the temptation to Cao Xiu is also great.

In order to play the role enough, Zhou Qu finally proposed in the letter that "there is no way to persuade cao xiu to do great things now", so he asked Cao Xiu for many titles and official seals to win over the bandits in the mountains.
In order to cooperate with Zhou Qu, Sun Quan also sent Lang Guan to interrogate Zhou Qu with his edict many times to express his extreme distrust of Zhou Qu, and in order to perform enough tricks, Zhou Quan personally went to the door of The Ministry of County, cut off his own hair and apologized to Sun Quan. Hair was of great significance to the ancients, not only because of the filial piety concept of "body hair skin, by parents", but also to a certain extent, hair also represented the life of the ancients. In the Romance of the Three Kingdoms, it is said that Cao Cao's horse was frightened into the wheat field, and in order to fulfill the military orders he issued, he cut his hair to send a message to the three armies. All the signs of Zhou Hu released such a signal to Cao Xiu: Sun Quan is ten thousand uneasy about me Zhou Qu, but you Cao Xiu can rest assured of my Zhou Hu ten thousand.

At this time, the ink on the letter written by Zhou Qu to Cao Xiu was not dried, and the news of Zhou Qu's judgment and apology reached Cao Xiu's ears. This made Cao Xiu deeply believe in Zhou Qu, believing that this was a godsend, at that time Cao Zhen had just won the Battle of the Street Pavilion against Wu, Cao Xiu was under pressure, and he also tried to win a big battle to prove himself, so he credulously believed Zhou Qu, "Shuai bu rides 100,000, and the road is full of people, and he comes to Anhui."
Cao Xiu thought that what awaited him was Zhou Hu's internal and external cooperation, but he did not expect that Zhou Hu and Lu Xun joined forces to ambush Cao Xiu, cao Xiu "disintegrated", Cao Wei was defeated, and Sun Wu "won ten thousand". This is the famous Battle of Shiting between The Three Kingdoms and Wei and Wu.

Afterwards, when Sun Quan feasted on the meritorious servants and was drunk and his ears were hot, he praised Zhou Que and said: "The king carries righteousness under the beard, becomes a lonely event, the merit of the king, and the bamboo of the book." He then made Zhou Que a general and gave Him the Marquis of Guannei.
The key to Zhou She's success in seducing Cao Xiu lies in the letter written by Zhou Qu and his act of breaking off his apologies, and the letter written by Zhou Qu can be described as blood and tears, sentence by heart, coupled with Zhou She's detailed and extremely feasible plan, which made Cao Xiu, who was eager to make meritorious achievements, move his heart. Cao Xiu was not a stupid person, and in the Three Kingdoms of Deception, Cao Xiu trusted Zhou Qu because of this letter, which shows that the effect of this letter is extraordinary. And Zhou Qu's act of apologizing for his sins also echoed the letter he wrote, staging a bitter meat plan, luring Cao Xiu into a trap step by step.
Third, make good use of spies
Zhou Qu not only used conspiracies and tricks himself, but also used spies. The Chronicle of the Three Kingdoms records that after Zhou Qu successfully completed the task entrusted to him by Sun Quan, another bandit named Dong Si suddenly rose up and plundered Yuzhang and other counties, and the people were deeply affected. Sun Quan sent Wu Yue and Tang Zhi to lead 3,000 soldiers and horses to attack Dong Si, but he did not expect that Dong Si was slightly wise and courageous, and the two sides fought for several months, and the battle situation was very stale.
Zhou Qu and the bandits actually had a lot of dealings, compared to the previous two times to quell the bandits, Zhou Qu decided to come to Yin this time. He first wrote to Sun Quan begging for a strike and allowing Zhou Tou to act cheaply. How does Zhou Bream act cheaply? Shi Zai Zhou "dispatched spies, gave advice, and seduced and killed heirs."
Zhou Qu's method of pacifying bandits and seducing Cao Xiu are actually similar to those of Cao Xiu, the former Zhou Qu used himself as bait to lure Cao Xiu into a trap of his own design step by step, and the latter Zhou Qu used the method of espionage, although the history books do not record in detail what the method is, but we can also imagine that it is not a glorious method.
After Dong Si was killed, his brother was horrified, so he led his people to surrender to the Wu army. A war that had been unresolved for months was easily quelled by Zhou Qu's use of espionage tactics. Although Zhou Qu was not as good as Zhuge Liang, Zhou Yu, Guo Jia and other first-class strategists, and was able to strategize and win thousands of miles away, he did not follow the routine, made good use of conspiracies and tricks, and the talent he displayed on the hidden front might not even be comparable to Zhou Yu's generation.
