In December 1952, when a middle school in Jiangsu Province was renovating its playground, it suddenly found an ancient tomb, and the cultural relics work department immediately stationed in this middle school, and then found that the owner of this tomb was a famous minister from the Three Kingdoms to the Western Jin Dynasty, called Zhou Chu.
But unfortunately, the tomb has been excavated many times, but still in the skeleton of the person, found 17 pieces of metal belts with hollow patterns, archaeologists in accordance with the usual practice, the samples in the tomb sent to the university's chemistry department for composition testing.
However, the results of the test surprised the experts, because 85% of the components of the samples sent were aluminum, and everyone knew that aluminum was a very difficult metal to refine.
It was not until 1825 that foreign scientists extracted a few milligrams of metallic aluminum from the laboratory for the first time, and the large-scale refining of metal aluminum dates back to the invention of electrolysis in 1886.

Archaeologists believe that the tombs around the area have undergone many excavations in history.

But this theory was quickly overturned, and the experts involved in the scene proposed that this ornament was found in the bones of people, that is, the position of the belt, and when the ornament was unearthed, the 30 cm soil layer was never disturbed, so how to see these aluminum is not mixed in.
Some experts said that there may be a mistake in the detection process of Northeastern University later conducted further testing, found that the complete 16 pieces of decoration, 90% of the composition is silver, but the composition of the broken piece is 97% aluminum, further testing, the conclusion is pure aluminum.
