My rating: 92

The aroma of red fruits such as cherries and raspberries is faintly floral. I liked the sweet smell of moist wood after the entrance, so I made up a scene of a picnic on the grass in the woods, and the sun shining into the woods.

The acidity is relatively high, and the astringency of tannins is obvious at first. After sobering, the astringency is reduced, and the sense of balance is good. I also feel a little more mature aroma such as tobacco leaves, which dissipate plainly after the mouth of bia ji.

When I went to the winery before, I bought a box of "no Riserva" versions. I drank Riserva at a friend's house these days.

The main difference between them is that the "non-Riserva" ones are aged in Slovenian vats for 12 months and then bottled; the Riserva is aged for almost three years before marketing, which includes 14 months of oak barrel ageing (40% French oak barrels, 60% Slovenian barrels) and 18 months of in-bottle aging.

After french oak barrel aging and bottle aging, the fruit aroma at the beginning is very ripe and full, which makes me expect a better layering later, but there is no. However, considering the price, it was also a great experience.

I still prefer the "no Riserva" version of chianti like this winery, the fruit is more vivid and the floral aroma is more pronounced.
