【#29 new confirmed cases on February 9#Guangxi increased local confirmed 7 cases#】 At 0-24:00 on February 9, 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the central government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 29 new confirmed cases. Among them, there were 22 imported cases (9 cases in Guangdong, 8 cases in Shanghai, 2 cases in Jilin, 1 case in Zhejiang, 1 case in Fujian, and 1 case in Guangxi), including 2 cases from asymptomatic infected people to confirmed cases (1 case in Guangdong and 1 case in Guangxi), and 7 local cases (all in Baise City, Guangxi). There were no new deaths. There was 1 new suspected case, which was imported from abroad (in Shanghai).

On the same day, 96 new cured and discharged cases were cured, 3263 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the severe cases were the same as the previous day.

There are 640 confirmed cases imported from overseas (including 1 severe case) and 1 suspected case. The cumulative number of confirmed cases is 12,847, the cumulative number of cured and discharged cases is 12,207, and there are no deaths.

As of 24:00 on February 9, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 1,428 confirmed cases (including 4 severe cases), 100599 cured and discharged cases, 4,636 cumulative deaths, 106663 confirmed cases and 1 suspected case. A total of 1551339 close contacts have been traced, and 40,352 close contacts are still under medical observation.

31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities directly under the Central Government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 28 new cases of asymptomatic infection, including 27 cases imported from abroad and 1 case from the mainland (in Shenyang City, Liaoning Province); 2 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (all imported from abroad); 39 cases were released from medical observation (31 cases imported from abroad); and 824 asymptomatic infected people were still under medical observation (739 cases imported from abroad).

A total of 35,183 confirmed cases were reported from Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Among them, there were 15,811 cases in Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (13,436 cases discharged from hospital, 215 deaths), 79 cases in Macao Special Administrative Region (79 cases discharged from hospital), and 19,293 cases in Taiwan Region (13,742 cases discharged from hospital, 851 deaths).
