There were 29 new cured and discharged cases, including 6 cases from Russia, 6 cases from Germany, 3 cases from Singapore, 3 cases from the United States, 2 cases from France, 2 cases from Australia, 1 case from Romania, 1 case from Peru, 1 case from Mauritania, 1 case from Argentina, 1 case from Canada, 1 case from Serbia and 1 case from Nigeria.
Cases 1-3 are all Chinese nationals, related to each other, visiting relatives in the United States, departing from the United States, taking the same flight, arriving at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 29 January 2022, and were placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which they developed symptoms. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
Case 4, a Chinese national who visited relatives in Canada, departed from Canada and arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 4 February 2022, where he was placed under centralized quarantine and observation after entering customs, during which he developed symptoms. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
Case 5, a Chinese national working in Congo (Brazzaville), departed from Congo (Brazzaville) via France, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 4 February 2022, and was placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which he developed symptoms. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
Cases 6 and 7 are both Chinese nationals and are mother-daughter relations, Case 6 lives in Canada, Case 7 studied in Canada, Case 6 and Case 7 departed from Canada, took the same flight, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 5 February 2022, and were placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which they developed symptoms. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
Case 8 is a Chinese national, studying in the United States, Case 9 is a Polish national, living in the United States, Case 8 and Case 9 departed from the United States, took the same flight, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on January 26, 2022, and after entering customs, they were centralized for isolation and observation, and if they developed symptoms before the isolation was lifted, they were sent to designated medical institutions for isolation and investigation. After consultation with the expert group, the diagnosis was confirmed as a confirmed case based on the epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests and imaging test results.
Cases 10 and 11 are both Chinese nationals, Case 10 lives in Serbia and departed from Serbia, Case 11 visited relatives in Romania, departed from Romania, Case 10 and Case 11 transited through Austria, took the same flight, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 5 February 2022, and were placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which they developed symptoms. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
Case 12, a Chinese national working in Japan, departed from Japan, arrived at Shanghai Pudong International Airport on 8 February 2022, and was placed under centralized isolation and observation after entering customs, during which he developed symptoms. Combined with epidemiological history, clinical symptoms, laboratory tests, and imaging findings, the diagnosis is confirmed as a confirmed case.
12 imported confirmed cases have been transferred to designated medical institutions for treatment, and 32 close contacts of the same flight have been traced, and all of them have been implemented for centralized isolation and observation.
At 0-24:00 on February 10, 2022, there were no new confirmed cases of new coronary pneumonia.
At 0-24:00 on February 10, 2022, 1 case of asymptomatic infection was lifted from medical observation.
As of 24:00 on February 10, 2022, the cumulative number of imported confirmed cases abroad was 3,478, 3,280 cases were discharged from hospital, and 198 cases were treated in hospital. There are currently 0 suspected cases to be investigated.
