On February 7, Akbum, director of the Dutch Public Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD), said in an interview with The Dutch Financial News that Chinese and Russian intelligence agencies are using workplace social platforms such as LinkedIn (LinkedIn) and Instagram to secretly contact Dutch high-tech talents and obtain confidential information from them through extortion or bribery.
