The Justice Department said Monday it had filed a lawsuit against Chinese communications technology company Hytera for conspiring with former Motorola employees to steal Motorola trade secrets, including technology and trade data, for developing and selling mobile radio products. If convicted, Hytera will face a hefty fine equivalent to "stealing" the proceeds, having previously denied stealing technology and accusing Motorola of abusing its market position to hinder competition; Motorola said it would continue to prosecute it in the United States, China, Germany, Australia and other regions.
