Hong Kong and Taiwan dialect: Find an excuse to interfere in Hong Kong's old problems, Western politicians should change it

Recently, the British Foreign Office, together with some members of the "Media Freedom Alliance," issued a so-called statement about the "Sino-British Joint Statement," wantonly slandering hong Kong's press freedom and smearing the SAR Government for enforcing the law according to law. Similar attempts and tricks are not just one, and the outside world has long been worn out of the ear cocoon by its noise. Open your eyes and say nonsense to fool international public opinion, this kind of small action can be put to rest! Any attempt to intervene in the name of "freedom of the press" and exert pressure is self-defeating and doomed to failure.

Hong Kong is a society ruled by law, where laws must be followed and violations of the law must be prosecuted, and no one can use press freedom as a shield against China and chaos in Hong Kong, undermining national security and social stability. The hong Kong SAR police arrested individuals suspected of colluding in the publication of incitement publications and froze relevant assets in accordance with the law, which is a necessary measure to safeguard the rule of law and maintain social order in Hong Kong, and is a legitimate move that cannot be blamed.

Freedom of the press brooks no distortion or abuse. Hong Kong's Basic Law and National Security Law explicitly guarantee the rights and freedoms enjoyed by Hong Kong residents in accordance with the law, including freedom of speech and the press. Since the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law, the legal rights and freedoms of Hong Kong residents have been fully protected in accordance with the law, and the freedom of the press in Hong Kong has also been better protected in a safe, stable and rule-of-law environment. At present, there are 209 local, mainland and overseas media organizations registered in the press release system of the Information Department of the HKSAR Government, which is more than before the implementation of the Hong Kong National Security Law.

Some external forces, including the "Media Freedom Alliance," have turned a blind eye to the current excellent situation in the SAR and turned a deaf ear to the objective facts that Hong Kong's media are developed and information is unimpeded; instead, they have ganged up and beaten a rake, groundlessly slandered Hong Kong's press freedom, and openly interfered in the SAR's rule of law. It has been nearly 25 years since Hong Kong's return to the motherland, and a small number of Western countries, such as britain and the United States, are still interfering in Hong Kong affairs under the pretext of the "Sino-British Joint Declaration." This is pure nonsense that distorts history and jurisprudence.

After Hong Kong's return to the motherland, the Constitutional Legal Basis for the Chinese Government's governance of Hong Kong is the Chinese Constitution and the Hong Kong Basic Law. Some Western countries and politicians ignore this ironclad fact. In recent years, they have repeatedly attacked the problem of being shy and acting as teachers on Hong Kong-related issues. In addition to the gimmick of "press freedom," they also insist on slandering troubles under the guise of "democracy" and "human rights," arbitrarily discuss Hong Kong affairs, often interfere in China's internal affairs through their own legislation and so-called unilateral sanctions, smear the SAR Government, the police, and the new election system, and stage a clumsy political farce.

When the "black rioters" clamored for "stir-frying" to wantonly undermine Hong Kong's prosperity and stability, these Western politicians actually called it a "beautiful landscape."; they made irresponsible remarks about the Hong Kong National Security Law legislation and the SAR Legislative Council election, stigmatized "one country, two systems" into "one country, one system." After being refuted, they still used strong words and were selectively blind; they secretly instigated the "color revolution" first, and in turn asked the UN Security Council to discuss hong Kong-related national security legislation.

These acts are not only wanton trampling on international law and norms governing international relations, but also deliberate distortions of the successful practice of "one country, two systems", and even more gross interference and sabotage of Hong Kong's democratic development. They talk about "democracy," "human rights," and "press freedom" in their mouths, but their hearts are filled with an outdated colonial mentality and hegemonic thinking.

In fact, its political painting skin has long been punctured by bad deeds, and the hypocritical script has long been seen through by the international community. In the "Capitol Hill" incident in Washington, when there were signs of violence and a "landscape" similar to Hong Kong, they no longer discussed "beautiful" or "beautiful", but did not hesitate to use the state apparatus to suppress it. The members of the so-called "Media Freedom Alliance" are not themselves excellent students of press freedom, and some have forcibly shut down news websites, some have rudely suppressed the media and journalists of other countries, and some have frequently obstructed journalists from participating in public government activities.

These Western politicians are "tirelessly" interfering in Hong Kong affairs, supporting and cheering up anti-China and chaotic Hong Kong elements, and fully exposing their sinister intentions of fearing that Hong Kong will not be chaotic. Hong Kong is stable, but they are anxious. Because these politicians have found it more and more difficult to extend the "black hand" of disaster to Hong Kong, it is more and more difficult to realize the "big plan" of obstructing China's development through the chaos of Hong Kong. Unwilling to accept the fate of defeat, they always try to provoke trouble, take the opportunity to release so-called statements and inverted statements of right and wrong, and continue to disrupt Hong Kong affairs. However, no matter how unwilling they are, their finger-pointing can only be reduced to futile muttering, which cannot shake the general trend of Hong Kong society from chaos to governance, from governance to prosperity.

Hong Kong is China's Hong Kong, and Hong Kong affairs are purely China's internal affairs, and no external forces have the right to interfere. China's determination to safeguard national sovereignty, security and development interests is unswerving, and its determination to comprehensively and accurately implement the principle of "one country, two systems" is unswerving. The general trend of Hong Kong's transformation from chaos to governance, rule by law and prosperity is irreversible. Relevant countries, organizations and a small number of politicians should have a clear understanding of the facts, respect the general situation, and abide by international law and the basic norms governing international relations. Changing tricks to find excuses to interfere with Hong Kong's old problems, it's time to change it! (Wang Dake)
