According to previous spy photos, the EQS SUV will follow the electrification concept of the Mercedes-EQ family in terms of exterior design, using a fully enclosed grille design and equipped with narrow headlight sets on both sides, just like the EQS sedan. Six-strip bright silver rims were used on the sides, greatly adding to the premium feel of the new car's exterior.

Its body length may reach 5160mm, which is shorter than the 5265mm EQS sedan, providing plenty of space for its three rows of seven seats inside. The overall shape of the rear of the car is still calm and square, and the layering is created through the spoiler and lower bumper, which makes the rear look slightly flavorful. The interior adopts the same design style as the EQS car, and the central control uses a connecting screen shape, thus forming an integrated design effect, which enhances the sense of science and technology in its interior.

The EQE SUV plays the role of a small EQS SUV, and its overall design style is expected to be very similar to that of the EQS SUV. Similarly, the EQE SUV is rumored to be 4850mm long, which is a bit shorter than the 4934mm of the EQE sedan, with a 5-seat layout inside. From a design point of view, in addition to the difference in size, the two models will be very similar and attach great importance to aerodynamics, as Mercedes will likely strive for the lowest drag coefficient in their segment.

The similarity of the chassis makes it possible for Mercedes to jointly develop the two electric SUVs, which are expected to launch within six months. It is reported that after EQE and EQS, the next product in Mercedes' electric SUV series will be the EQG launched in 2024.
