In terms of appearance, the new car as a whole still adopts the design language of the EQ family, which is somewhat similar to the Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV concept car that was unveiled before. Inside the enclosed grille with the front face named "Dark Night Star Array", a variety of driver assistance sensors, including ultrasonic radar and millimeter-wave radar, are integrated, maintaining the luxurious beauty of the vehicle.

Among them, the four-wheel drive version is equipped with two permanent magnet synchronous motors at the front and rear, which can provide a maximum power of 400 kW and a maximum torque of 858 N·m.
In addition, the EQS SUV features a suspension system with four-link front suspension + independent multi-link rear suspension, with continuously adjustable damping ADS+ AIRMATIC air suspension. To increase ground clearance, the body can be raised by 25 mm. In addition to the "Energy Saving", "Comfort", "Sport" and "Personalization" modes, the dynamic control options are new "off-road" driving modes on the EQ model, and it is possible to choose whether to use with ESPò or not. The standard rear wheel active steering function angles up to 4.5 degrees, and optional rear wheel active steering with a steering angle of up to 10 degrees can be installed to improve its handling and dynamic performance on urban roads.
