During the break between work, he accepted a video link from a reporter from China's Jilin Network to talk about his experience in serving the Winter Olympics.

When the reporter connected with him by video, he had just returned to the base after completing his work, and due to the needs of epidemic prevention and control, he needed to wear a mask all the time, and the edge of the mask could faintly see the traces of long-term wear...

Zhang Yan is a member of the logistics support team, responsible for meal sharing in the Winter Olympic Village, preparing three meals for 12,000 people every day.

Every day at 5 o'clock, Zhang Yan got up, rushed to the work site at 6 o'clock and then divided and served meals, 6:00-9:00, 10:50-14:00, 16:30-20:00 three time periods, whether it is cold wind or drifting snow, they need to send hot meals to everyone's hands at the first time, do a good job of logistics support for everyone.

Talking about the service work at the Winter Olympics, Zhang Yan said: "My personal experience is relatively rich, I have done various part-time jobs, this is not my first job. But after coming here, I feel that every day is very fulfilling. The matter of sending meals is not big, saying that small is not small, now the outside temperature is below zero, the meal is cold outside for half an hour, and we have to dock more departments, so we must continue to optimize the process, the delivery time to the shortest, in order to ensure that everyone eats hot meals for the first time, so we are brainstorming every day. Now everyone is unanimously praising us. ”

Speaking of work Zhang Yan is very mature, but occasionally shows a hint of childishness, he smiled and said: "My biggest wish now is to be able to sleep lazily." In the past, if I rested at home, I could sleep until the afternoon, and now I have to get up at 5 o'clock every day, and now I have developed a biological clock, the alarm clock can get up without ringing, and occasionally the shift break is more than five o'clock. ”

After the end of the work at 20 o'clock every day, Zhang Yan will return to the base for a meeting, all kinds of scattered work is waiting for him, and he can go to bed after 23 o'clock every day, and the whole work is very hard. But he was optimistic, he said: "Our motto is 'Not Afraid of Suffering, Not Afraid of Tiredness, Dedication to the Winter Olympics'. I think it myself, tired is a little tired, but if you come here, you are safe, and since you are in this position, you will try to do the best job at hand. ”

This Winter Olympics is a valuable experience for Zhang Yan, he said: "In this work, I realized one thing, that is, if a person wants to do things well, he needs to have serious and more genuine qualities, specific things in work are easy to say, as long as he has these two qualities, he can do any job well." ”
