Albert II also had a soft spot for sports, having attended the opening ceremony of the Summer Olympics in Beijing, the opening ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, and the World Championships in Athletics in Beijing.
Albert II is also associated with the Winter Olympics, having represented Monaco in 5 Winter Olympics.
In January 1995, we established consular relations with Monaco and diplomatic relations at the ambassadorial level in February 2006. In 2020, the import and export volume of China and Moldova was 57.672 million US dollars, an increase of 44.7% year-on-year. During Prince Albert II's state visit to the mainland in September 2018, Huawei signed a cooperation agreement with Monaco Telecom to build a 5G network in Monaco. The agreement is well implemented. In July 2019, Monaco became the first European country to achieve full 5G network coverage.
