I felt that the method I used to use before was not working, and I was weak and powerless, but I didn't dare to change when I painted the prime minister, for fear that people would say that it would be a scandalous leader. Later, when I painted the miners, my emotions had reached the point where I couldn't stand it, and I couldn't use the method of "Uprooted" that I had painted, I had to change, distort people, and if I didn't distort, I couldn't express my depressed feelings.
