During the Spring Festival, the Shenzhen Museum's Museum of History and Folklore, the Museum of Ancient Art and the "Pearl River Rising tide - Guangdong's 40th Anniversary of Reform and Opening Up Exhibition" are open until February 6 (the sixth day of the first lunar month). The Museum of History and Folklore and the Museum of Ancient Art will be closed on February 7, and the exhibition "The Great Tide Rises on the Pearl River" will be closed for maintenance from February 7 to 14. In addition to the permanent exhibitions of the above venues, there are also 5 thematic exhibitions on display during the Spring Festival.

The Ancient Art Museum of Shenzhen Museum exhibits "Amber", "Daming Palace Porcelain - Ming Dynasty Court Porcelain of the 15th Century", "History and Miracle - Exhibition of the 40th Anniversary of the Founding of Shenzhen Museum". The "Amber" exhibition is divided into three parts: "Fat Into Persper", "All-encompassing" and "Long-distance", exhibiting 120 pieces of precious amber gems, rich insects, exquisite amber cultural relics and handicrafts. It shows its formation process, mineral properties, scientific and artistic value in a comprehensive way, and tells the story of amber's past and present lives. The exhibition "Daming Palace Porcelain - Ming Dynasty Court Porcelain in the Fifteenth Century" is centered on the specimens of porcelain excavated by Jingdezhen Archaeology, supplemented by Chuzhou Longquan Official Ware, Yuzhou Guanjun Porcelain, etc. The era covers the Hongwu to Hongzhi period of the Ming Dynasty, with rich and diverse types of utensils and wonderful craftsmanship, making Chinese history and culture come alive. The prologue hall of "History, Miracle - Exhibition on the 40th Anniversary of the Establishment of Shenzhen Museum" set up a promotional video of "40 Years of Shenzhen Bo" and a "Memorabilia of 40 Years of Shenzhen Bo" to review the development process of the museum. The main body of the exhibition consists of 6 parts - "Collection Collection System", "Cultural Heritage Protection and Inheritance", "Full Series Exhibition", "Let Cultural Relics Come Alive", "Civilization Exchange and Mutual Learning", and "Shenzhen Bo Tomorrow is Better", which comprehensively shows the contribution and achievements of the museum in Shenzhen's cultural construction, the improvement of citizen literacy, the innovation of cultural and cultural undertakings, as well as the planning and confidence of future undertakings.

In the History and Folklore Museum of Shenzhen Museum, a blockbuster New Year's Eve special exhibition "Exchange and Mutual Learning- Silk Road Art of Dunhuang Grottoes and Hexi Corridor" was launched. The exhibition is divided into "Prologue: Dunhuang Grottoes", "Part I: Silk Road Chonghua" and "Part II: Vientiane Human World", starting from the art of Dunhuang Grottoes, the original proportions reproduce and present the four representative caves of Mogao Grottoes Caves 285, 220, 320 and 45, and also show the process of grotto excavation, mural painting, and painted sculpture production, presenting the various forms of Silk Road art in the ancient Dunhuang and Hexi Corridors. The "Silk Road Treasure - Copper Tire Filigree Enamel Art Exhibition" is also on display at the Museum of History and Folklore. The exhibition presents more than 100 pieces (sets) of cloisonné artworks representing the contemporary production process and level, allowing the audience to understand the development and change of cloisonné technology and appreciate the beauty of the craft at close range.
