This art exhibition invited many representative inheritors of intangible cultural heritage at the national and provincial levels, masters of arts and crafts, etc. to participate together, exhibiting Works of Lingnan Intangible Cultural Heritage on the theme of "Tiger" such as Shiwan Pottery Sculpture, Foshan Paper-cutting, Guangdong Embroidery, Chao Embroidery, etc., including the vivid embroidery tigers such as Guangzhou embroidery master Chen Shaofang and Chao embroidery master Sun Qingxian, the paper-cutting tigers with full charm of paper-cutting artists such as Chen Yongcai and Rao Baolian, the delicate and exquisite olive carving tigers of the olive carving master Zeng Zhaohong, and the Guangdong Provincial Arts and Crafts Master Wang Zengfeng. "The Road to Peaks: An Exhibition on the Exploration and Research of Freehand Painting in Contemporary Chinese Painting"

As the final exhibition of the 2021 "Road to the Peak" series, this exhibition takes "freehand" as the research aspect, trying to explore and present the different generational characteristics of "freehand" in the 20th century from the 30s to the 70s. Through more than 220 works by 75 artists, this exhibition presents the exploration and experimentation of current artists on the "brush and ink" and "freehand" in Chinese painting as a whole. In view of the current situation that artistic creation has a "plateau" and a lack of "peak", "Peak Road" tries to conduct an in-depth discussion on the development of Chinese painting from an academic point of view. The exhibition first starts from different painting disciplines of landscapes, flowers, birds and figures, and then presents the freehand thinking of artists of different ages on Chinese painting in the way of the painters, trying to present the exploration path of contemporary Chinese painting towards the "peak".

"Beautiful Porcelain And Beautiful Ware" - Jingdezhen Kiln Porcelain Fine Exhibition in the Museum Collection

Jingdezhen color porcelain firing technology reached its peak in the Ming and Qing dynasties, and the glaze painting technology was constantly innovated, and the colored porcelain categories represented by multicolored porcelain, doucai porcelain, enamel porcelain and pastel porcelain competed for the strange douyan and colorful. During the Republic of China period, the color porcelain technology was still innovated, or the fusion of Chinese and Western techniques to paint porcelain, or the literati poetry, books, paintings into porcelain, elegant and popular appreciation, also has a high artistic value. The exhibition is divided into two parts: "Ming and Qing Colored Porcelain" and "Republic of China Colored Porcelain", selecting the fine works of the Ming and Qing dynasties and the Jingdezhen kiln porcelain of the Republic of China, exhibiting a total of 47 pieces (sets) of colored porcelain, I believe that colorful and exquisitely decorated porcelain can bring beauty to the audience and friends.

Silk Road Treasure - Copper Tire Filigree Enamel Art Exhibition

The 5,000-year-old Chinese civilization has created countless artistic treasures, and cloisonné is particularly dazzling. Although it has a history of only more than 600 years, cloisonné is known as the master of traditional Chinese crafts because of its combination of art, craftsmanship, carving, inlay, glass smelting, metallurgy and other professional technologies. Cloisonné craftsmanship has gone through different historical periods of the Yuan, Ming, Qing, Republic of China and New China, and at each historical stage, under the influence of social form, economy and culture, cloisonné artworks will also be marked with different historical imprints, showing different or specific artistic styles and artistic characteristics. In the 600 years since its introduction, this rare skill has experienced integration, prosperity, trough, rebirth and development in China, until today's peak, and has become a national heavy weapon connecting China and the world and showing the style of the Chinese nation. This exhibition will display more than 100 pieces (sets) of cloisonné artworks representing the contemporary production process and level, so that the audience who visit the museum can clearly understand the development and change of cloisonné technology, lead the audience to understand the ancient and modern history of cloisonné, and appreciate the beauty of its craftsmanship at close range.

As an important gateway of China to the Western Regions, Dunhuang's ancient Chinese civilization and ideas, religions, arts and cultures from different countries and regions such as ancient India, ancient Greece, and ancient Persia converged here. With a broad mind of openness and inclusiveness, the Chinese civilization has continuously absorbed and learned from the achievements of excellent civilizations outside the region, creating a unique Dunhuang culture and the spirit of the Silk Road. The relics of the Silk Road art in the Dunhuang Grottoes and hexi Corridor are the great achievements of civilizational exchanges and mutual learning.

Spanning thousands of years of time and space, today's Shenzhen and ancient Dunhuang have played a similar role in the long river of Chinese history. As the forerunner of the reform and opening up of New China, Shenzhen is also an important town for Trade and Cultural Exchanges between China and the West in the context of the new era. In 2021, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, in order to solemnly celebrate the centenary of the party's birth, our museum jointly held this special exhibition with Dunhuang Research Institute and other cultural and museum units. Starting from the art of dunhuang grottoes, supplemented by important historical relics, the exhibition presents the various forms of Silk Road art in the ancient Dunhuang and Hexi corridors. At the same time, the exhibition will also contribute to the cultural development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Shenzhen Socialist Pilot Demonstration Zone.

FuCai YingChun - Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum Collection "Youth Heart Seal Series" works exhibition

On the occasion of the Spring Festival of the Year of the Tiger and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics, in order to vigorously create a strong cultural atmosphere during the festival and the Winter Olympics and enrich the festive cultural life of the citizens, Shenzhen Guan Shanyue Art Museum selected more than 40 pieces of fine brush strokes from the collection of "Youth Heart Seal" series of collections, and through careful planning, held the "Colorful Spring - Collection of Youth Heart Seal Series Brush Stroke Special Exhibition". The exhibition is divided into two themes: "Natural Style" and "Urban Story". The exhibition also features a new media work "Guan He" created by local gongbi painters with the support of the Digital Development Department of our museum. The exhibition has attempts to refer to various genres of Western modern art, from images that express the most common visuals of the city, to portrayals of ordinary and intimate life at close range, and to works that are far from the "painterliness" of art for thousands of years in terms of production methods.
