In recent years, Hongta District has adhered to the principle of "protection first, strengthening management, excavating value, effective utilization, and making cultural relics come alive", and the activation and utilization of cultural relics has achieved remarkable results.

According to reports, in the past three years, Hongta District has invested nearly 60 million yuan in various types of funds at all levels to repair and utilize cultural relics protection units and revolutionary sites such as the Yuxi kiln site, the former site of Wenxingxiang business, the Li family compound in Beicheng, the former residence of Li Hongxiang, the Chen Gong Ancestral Hall, the former residence of the Zheng family, and the former site of the establishment of the first party branch in Yuxi County. In order to bring more cultural relics and cultural heritage to life and create a strong social atmosphere for inheriting Chinese civilization, Hongta District has strengthened the excavation and interpretation of the value of historical materials and actively promoted the construction of rural museums. The 140,000 pieces of private collector Chen's precious collection were analyzed and sorted, and a collection report was formed, and representative collections were selected for physical shooting. At the same time, it continues to carry out investigation and rubbing of the existing historical inscriptions in various townships (streets), and has taken the lead in building 9 rural museums in the city.

This year, other projects for the revitalization and utilization of cultural relics such as the Yuxi Kiln Site Museum and the former site of Wenxingxiang Firm will be unveiled one after another.
