Alpine plans to have three pure electric vehicle models for sale by 2026, including the GT X-Over, a pure electric SUV that can carry the whole family; a pure electric compact hatchback for daily transportation, which is also considered to be a sporty version of the Renault 5 pure electric vehicle unveiled at the 2021 IAA Mobility (German International Automobile and Smart Mobility Expo); and a pure electric sports car full of driving fun. It will be developed by Alpine and Lotus, based on Lotus's latest lightweight E-Sports modular electric platform, and this pure electric sports car is also seen as an alternative to the current Alpine sports car A110.
