In February last year, according to the Zhejiang Television Station's Education Science and Video Channel's people's livelihood news program "Xiaoqiang Hotline", a car owner in Ningbo spent 1.55 million yuan to buy a Porsche Taycan 4S pure electric sports car, but after driving about 1700 kilometers and three months later, he suddenly "squatted", and the car dashboard showed "electrical system failure".
According to the program, the test result of the 4S shop was that there was a problem with the car's battery. The reply from Porsche's headquarters in Germany to the owner was "Replace the high-voltage battery according to the GFF standard." Apply for technical support, and the technical department replies that the high-voltage battery needs to be replaced. The owner of this said that he could not accept it and insisted on changing the car.
The manager of the marketing department of Porsche Center Ningbo Cixi said, "If it is an individual (car), you can give it (return and exchange), but you (car) is under the company's name, and it is really impossible." ”
In the end, the owner asked the 4S store to bear 200,000 compensation, which was rejected.
Porsche unveiled its first pure electric sports car, the Taycan, in 2019, with the first-movers including the all-new Taycan Turbo S and the all-new Taycan Turbo. Customers can also pay an additional $60,500 (including VAT) for the optional Performance Battery Plus version of the Porsche Taycan 4S.
Both battery versions accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4 seconds and achieve a top speed of 250 km/h. The maximum charging power of the two versions is 225 kW (Performance Battery) and 270 kW (Performance Battery Plus).
