Snow Leopard Finance and Economics exclusively learned that recently, Xu Feng, head of the Jingdong Technology Sales Center, was promoted to the position of president of JD Technology and reported to CEO Li Yayun. Three JD Tech insiders confirmed the news.
Xu Feng is the vice president of JD.com Group and the former president of JD.com Technology Digital City Cluster. In the organizational structure adjustment of JD Technology at the beginning of this year, Xu Feng was appointed as the head of JD Technology Sales Center.
According to the official website of JD Technology, in January 2021, the two major technology business sectors of the former JD Digital and Zhilian Cloud were integrated, and the JD Technology Sub-Group was formally established, becoming the core output platform for the entire JD Group to provide technical services to the outside world.
A Jingdong technology source told Snow Leopard Finance and Economics that in recent years, JD Technology is accelerating its focus on cloud business, and Cao Peng, head of JD Cloud Business Department, has a high internal reputation as the "technical representative" of JD.com.
Although Cao Peng reports to CEO Li Yayun at JD.com Technology, at the group level, Cao Peng, as the chairman of the technical committee of JD.com, is listed in the core senior management team of JD.com with Liu Qiangdong and Xu Lei.

From the organizational structure adjustment of JD Technology at the beginning of this year, it can be seen that JD Cloud business is moving towards the C position. In January, JD.com Technology carried out a new round of organizational structure adjustment, setting up "one department and three centers", that is, cloud business department, sales, solution and delivery three centers. According to the internal letter, the adjustment is to "effectively support the implementation of science and technology strategy and business development, and lead the digital and qualitative upgrading of the industry with technology".
