The Emeya is expected to start production in 2024, and although it is estimated to sell in the million range, it is clearly a car that needs to be walked.

Personally, I think the design of the Lotus Emeya is very good, and it will definitely not be inferior to Porsche. As a mid-to-large coupe, the Lotus Emeya has a larger body size than the Taycan, 5139x2005x1464mm and a wheelbase of 3069mm.
Like Porsche, the Emeya has a very low center of gravity, which Lotus calls a "super-stance" design. It has a more advanced and aggressive aerodynamic design than its rivals, and looks more like a supercar.
Externally, the new car continues the family design concept, with dual L-shaped split lights and a deformable hexagonal active aerodynamic front grille, which has been seen on the previous supercar SUV Lotus Eletre.

The low center of gravity coupled with Emeya-equipped electronically controlled air suspension system with its advanced on-board sensors senses the road 1,000 times per second and automatically adjusts the vehicle to ensure a smooth ride. With the Tesla chassis tuning function, it can be expected that this is a very sporty, luxurious and comfortable four-door GT.

In terms of power, the new car is equipped with dual front and rear motors, of which the R high-performance version has an output of 225kW in the front motor and 450kW in the rear, which translates to a comprehensive output of 905 horsepower and a peak torque of 985 Nm.
The official Zero Hundred accelerates in just 2.78 seconds and reaches a top speed of 256km/h, which is one of the fastest electric four-door coupes in the world.
The new car is equipped with a 102kWh battery pack, and the CLTC has a range of 600 kilometers in the base model and 490 kilometers in the high-performance version.
Like the Porsche Taycan, the Lotus Emeya also adopts an 800V architecture, when it uses a 350kW DC fast charging pile, it can increase the range by 180 kilometers in 5 minutes and from 10% to 80% in 15 minutes.
Finally, on the technology side, the interior is equipped with 5 LCD screens, as well as a large AR-HUD head-up display, and can also have 2 streaming mirrors. In addition, the new car is also equipped with a KEF 3D audio system, and the seats in the car will also be available in 4-seat or 5-seat versions.
The roof of the Lotus Emeya is equipped with a liftable lidar, which can reduce wind resistance when not in use, of course, the lidar without protrusions is also optimistic. There are also flippable lidar on the wings on both sides of the body.
When it comes to intelligent and intelligent driving, the Lotus Emeya definitely does better than Porsche.
The Taycan is clearly more likely to succeed than the Emeya, as Porsche already has experience with this type of four-door luxury GT in the fuel age, and Porsche is also recognized as a luxury and comfortable brand.
And Lotus Emeya obviously has to start from scratch, fans know that the brand is great on the track, but the masses may not know or even value it. Any mass that wants to buy a luxury four-door electric car will consider whether this million is worth it.
