For those who feel sorry that taycan Sport Turismo has not been introduced to China, the Taycan Cross Turismo, which is similar in shape, is another comfort. At the same time, the Taycan GTS, the first pure electric member of the Porsche GTS family, also opened a pre-sale, with a suggested retail price of 1.392 million yuan.
As you can tell from the name, the Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo aims to bring the Taycan's purely electrical motion performance to more scenarios. Compared with the ordinary version of the Taycan that is currently on sale, the rear of the Taycan Cross Turismo adopts the shape of a crossover station wagon on the basis of the original, and the entire roof extends backwards from above the B-pillar, the rear shape is fuller, and the head space of the rear passengers has also been greatly improved. At the same time, the Taycan Cross Turismo is covered with black skid plates at the wheel arches, and the whole car shows an outdoor off-road style.
As a result, the Taycan Cross Turismo has more "open" space and storage capacity than the regular Taycan. The head space of the rear passengers has increased by 47mm, with the panoramic fixed glass sunroof that is standard in the Chinese market, the panoramic sunroof with light control function divides the entire sunroof into 9 areas that can be controlled individually, and the status of each zone can be switched between transparent, frosted, translucent and bold with just a finger click, and also supports the use of fingers to cross the sunroof diagram in the display screen to activate the corresponding sections in order. At the same time, the luggage compartment volume has been increased to 1212 liters, and it is equipped with storage components such as partition nets, luggage hooks and luggage retention belts.
The Taycan Cross Turismo has launched 4 power versions, from the basic Taycan 4 Cross Turismo to the most powerful Taycan Turbo S Cross Turismo, with maximum horsepower of 380 horses, 490 horses, 625 horses, respectively, with the supercharged power of the starting control, the maximum can reach 761 horses on the Turbo S, and the acceleration from 5.1 seconds to the fastest 2.9 seconds per 100 kilometers. All four models are equipped with an upgraded version of the 93.4kWh high-performance battery, and the CLTC cruising range can reach 513km, 511km, 523km and 469km respectively.
All four models come standard with a four-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension chassis, which can increase ground clearance by up to 30mm compared to the Taycan in standard driving mode, giving the Taycan Cross Turismo excellent passability in both on-road and off-road terrain. The standard gravel mode is designed for light off-road terrain such as sand and dirt roads to ensure power delivery and precise driving control, enhancing the Taycan Cross Turismo's ability to adapt to driving on uneven roads.
The Porsche Taycan GTS debuted at last year's Los Angeles Auto Show, with a lot of blackened designs added to the body, such as black window trim, black wheels, etc., and a larger air intake similar to the Taycan Sport Turismo in the front. At the same time, the standard Race-Tex and aluminum interior materials and the GTS logo with multiple details have been added to the car, eliminating the need for optional equipment and symbolizing its identity as a Porsche GTS model.
The Taycan GTS is positioned between the Taycan 4S and the Taycan Turbo, with dual motors with a maximum power of 590 horsepower, 3.7 seconds of acceleration from 100 km/h, and 504 km of WLTP range, the strongest endurance level in the entire Taycan series.

In the past 2021, the Taycan sold 41296 units worldwide, not only more than double in 2020, but even more than the 911 that best represents the soul of the Porsche brand, as well as the Chinese market, 7315 units also set a record for Taycan sales in China. Thanks to the success of the Taycan, the Chinese market delivered a total of 95,671 Porsche models last year, an increase of 8% year-on-year, becoming the world's largest single market for the Porsche brand for the seventh consecutive year, accounting for 31.7% of the entire Porsche global sales.
