The "Winter Olympics Duty Student Program" is a theme activity launched by the Winter Olympic Organizing Committee to promote the culture of the Winter Olympics and publicize the story of the Winter Olympics at the 100-day countdown to the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games. In this plan, 100 students on duty, composed of representatives from all walks of life, took turns to "duty" to spread the Winter Olympics, share the Winter Olympics, promote ice and snow culture, and tell the story of the Winter Olympics during the 100-day countdown to the Winter Olympics.

"The inspiration for this sword comes from the rising flames, and I have a yearning to use the hands of our craftsmen to create a sword of sacred fire so that more people can understand the traditional Chinese culture." During the design process, Liu Wentao has been thinking about how to better integrate traditional Chinese culture into this sword. To this end, he created more than a hundred design drawings.

The hilt of this sword presents the Olympic flame totem and the Olympic medal, gilded with the ancient law of the Tang Dynasty, interpreting the Olympic spirit of inheritance and courage to fight. Its sword scabbard is made of Han Dynasty lacquer technology, the whole body is red, and the hand-drawn drawings of the Winter Olympics are attached to it, plus the auspicious clouds and snowflake ornaments of the sheath and the sheath tail, showing the charm of peaceful China and ice and snow China.

Its sword body is made of 19 kinds of traditional sword casting techniques such as quenching, tempering, shaping, rough grinding, fine grinding, relief, lacquer, etc., the whole body is cold and light, the breath is compelling, the flame pattern on the upper side is clear and bright, and it burns and blooms from the center of the sword ridge to the sides, symbolizing the endless flame of the Olympics.

"The sword grid is the fusion of Xiangyun and Ruyi in the Tang Dynasty, directly wrapped around the handle with filigree, and the center of gravity is tied. The sword mouth is the shape of a torch, which also combines the elements of auspicious clouds and snowflakes. The lacquer sheath painted with large lacquer is to melt the pattern of the Winter Olympics into the sheath. Using curling as a kick hanging, this better melts some elements of the Winter Olympics into it. Liu Wentao told reporters that this "Sword of Sacred Fire" can be described as a thousand hammers and a thousand hammers, which is of great commemorative significance. Liu Wentao has been learning martial arts since childhood, passionate about the art of swords, at the age of 19 began to dabble in the collection of ancient weapons and follow his uncle to learn forging craftsmanship, after more than 20 years, so far collected more than 1,000 pieces of Chinese classic ancient weapons.
