Adhering to the concept of "being poor and being good alone, and helping the world if you are good", he has never forgotten the people of his hometown when he goes out to do business and has achieved a little success. In the 2021 general election of the village "two committees", he lived up to expectations and was successfully elected as the secretary of the village party branch and the director of the villagers' committee. Since taking office, he has always insisted on being a public servant of the people, adhered to the purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, worked hard and did not complain, performed his duties honestly, led the leading bodies of the "two committees" of the village to develop the economy, vigorously improved the infrastructure conditions, and made positive contributions to the development of the village's economic and social undertakings.

In terms of party building guidance, Wang Peng believes that a grassroots party organization with organization, cohesion and combat effectiveness is the key to leading the revitalization of the whole village. Wang Peng insisted on grasping the construction of the branch with the "six strictnesses". The first is to strictly implement the "three meetings and one lesson" system. Standardize the organization activities of the branch, and study the party's latest theoretical achievements and higher-level policy documents in a timely manner. The second is to strictly do a good job in the development and management of party members. In strict accordance with the "Work Regulations for the Development of Party Members" to recruit Party members, those who are unable to participate in organizational life due to migrant workers are "sent to school online"; those who are old and infirm or sick all year round and cannot participate in organizational life are "sent to school"; and those who do not participate in organizational life without reason shall be criticized, and their qualifications for evaluation shall be cancelled and reported to the higher-level Party organization for handling in accordance with the procedures. After continuous cleaning and standardization, there are 42 party members, including 11 under the age of 35, 7 with college degree or above, and 7 retired soldiers. The structure of party members is more reasonable, and the combat effectiveness of party organizations has been significantly improved. In terms of improving the income of the village-level collective economy, Wang Peng said: "If a village wants to revitalize, it must have the support of village-level industries, and the development of industries cannot be arbitrary, but must follow the law, plan first, and promote the development of rural industries according to local conditions." He insisted on the "four focuses" to grasp the village-level economy, and practiced it, worked hard, and never ambiguously grasped the construction of the project. The first is to focus on the prosperity of the industry and clarify the development ideas. Actively organize the cadres of the "two committees" of the village and the village-based work team to conduct all-round research on the industries and existing industries developed during the poverty alleviation period of Xinfeng Village, and combine the current situation of industrial development of Xinfeng Village, as well as the advantages of regions and talents, to coordinate the comprehensive revitalization of the whole village with the integrated demonstration pilot construction of municipal rural revitalization. The second is to focus on characteristic industries and actively develop agricultural projects. After many appeals, with the support of superior funds, the industry of Xinfeng Village has gradually grown. In 2022, more than 400 acres of flue-cured tobacco will be planted, with an output of about 180,000 jin and an output value of about 1 million yuan, driving more than 30 people out of poverty to work and increasing the income of poverty alleviation households. The third is to focus on strengthening the village-level collective economy and making good use of bridging funds. In 2022, a fixed dividend model will be adopted, and 1.5 million yuan will be invested to cooperate with Zhongshan District Grain Investment Jiawo Co., Ltd. to develop the vegetable industry in Wangjiaba, and 200,000 yuan will be invested every year to expand the collective economy, and 200,000 yuan will be invested to develop and expand the beekeeping industry in the village, and the annual dividend will also be used to enrich the collective economy. There are 2 large rabbit households in Xinfeng Village, with nearly 80,000 rabbits slaughtered every year and an output value of nearly 4 million yuan. In addition, Wang Peng is also actively striving for bridging funds in 2023 to expand the scale of breeding, and at the same time focus on how to better lead more people to increase their income and promote the common prosperity of the whole village.

In terms of improving the production and living standards of rural areas, Wang Peng is well aware that infrastructure construction is the foundation of all-round development, and adheres to the "three firsts" to do a good job in infrastructure construction in the village to achieve the improvement of production and living standards. The first is to build machine farming roads to facilitate mass production. The 11th group of Xinfeng Village has a high altitude and the land is sandy loam, which is very suitable for planting potatoes and corn, and the yield of potatoes and corn is high, but it is limited by the terrain and inconvenient transportation, and the cost of farming is high. Wang Peng mobilized 11 groups of people to dig a 3.0m wide and 2km long dirt road, and after the completion of the project, he kept "lobbying" everywhere to win 2.4106 million yuan of funds for the "machine farming road" project of the District Natural Resources Bureau, and hardened this section of the road. The second is to take the lead in lighting the road to facilitate the lives of the masses. There are a total of 11 villager groups in Xinfeng Village, and for a long time, only one, three and nine groups of roads have been installed with street lights. In the face of the expectations of the masses to "look at the lights and sigh", in order to change the status quo of the villagers traveling in the dark, Wang Peng repeatedly reflected and sought to obtain the support of the District Finance Bureau for 200 solar street lights. The third is to clear the passage and road blockage points first, so as to facilitate the masses to travel. There is a curved bridge with a width of 3.5m and a length of 5m in Group 9 of Xinfeng Village, and because it is a sharp bend, car accidents often occur. Wang Peng went to the District Transportation Bureau many times to coordinate, and the Xinfeng Village guardrail construction team widened it to 5m.

In terms of strengthening rural governance, Wang Peng seized the opportunity of Xinfeng Village to be officially listed as the first batch of pilot villages for the integrated demonstration of municipal characteristic pastoral villages and rural revitalization in October 2021, and adhered to the "five efforts" to grasp the construction of rural revitalization, starting from fine grassroots governance, and taking the initiative to integrate village-level development with town and district development and consider it holistically. The first is to focus on coordinating industrial development and ecological improvement. Although there are many farmers in Xinfeng Village, the scale is not large, some farmers do not build septic tanks, and some farmers do not clean septic tanks regularly, resulting in poor environmental sanitation in the village. Wang Peng has come to mobilize and actively strive for financial support many times, and built 23 new septic tanks, with a subsidy of 500 yuan per cubic meter. The second is to focus on building a demonstration village for comprehensive management of social security. Combined with the actual situation of Xinfeng Village, we have carried out the construction of the platform of "one center, one network and ten joint households", established 11 grid groups and 45 joint household groups, investigated key groups every week, resolved contradictions and disputes, and orderly promoted the pilot work of creating comprehensive management of social security. The third is to focus on rectifying the abuse of banquets and advocating the change of customs. Wang Peng took the lead in revising the "Xinfeng Village Red and White Council" to publicize policies such as civilized funerals and low-cost bride prices. Adopt methods such as greeting red and white ceremonies to rectify the indiscriminate holding of banquets, heavy burials and poor maintenance, and establish a new trend of civilization. Fourth, focus on the construction of rule of law villages and promote the modernization of grassroots governance capacity. Guided by party building and guided by the needs of the masses, Wang Peng will coordinate and promote the organic integration of democracy and rule of law and convenient services, and embark on a characteristic road of co-governance, co-construction and sharing of villagers. The village is proposed to be nominated by Liupanshui City as a provincial-level "Democratic Rule of Law Demonstration Village". Fifth, efforts should be made to resolve the remaining problems and rejuvenate the grassroots level. Wang Peng has repeatedly organized cadres of the "two committees" of the village branch and the project boss to recover the arrears of villagers' land transfer funds, and recovered 80,000 yuan of land circulation rent for the masses, and has won the case of arrears of land circulation rent since 2018.

During his tenure as secretary of the village party branch for a year, Wang Peng has solved dozens of large and small difficulties for the village, and won the trust and support of the village "two committees" and villagers in a short period of time.
