China Academy of Information and Communications Technology: The proportion of mobile phones equipped with Android 12 operating system has increased rapidly

DoNews, January 26 (Tian Xiaomeng) Today, the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology released a monitoring report on the communication characteristics and technical capabilities of domestic mobile phone products (issue IV in 2021). The report shows that mobile phones equipped with Android version 12 operating system have just appeared in the market, and their proportion has increased rapidly.

It is understood that in the fourth quarter of 2021, there are 119 mobile phone products that apply for network detection, of which 59 are 5G mobile phones, 60 are 4G mobile phones, and 2G mobile phones and 3G mobile phone models account for 0.

On the domestic mobile phone operating system, according to the statistical analysis of the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the proportion of smart phones in 4G and 5G mobile phones that applied for network access testing in the fourth quarter of 2021 was 87.4%. Among all smart phones, the proportion of Android operating system is still high, accounting for 92.3%, of which Android version 12 operating system accounted for 33.3%.
