From January to February, the overall shipment volume of the domestic mobile phone market was 47.9 million units, down 22.6% year-on-year.
In addition, the data also shows that in February 2022, 5G mobile phone shipments were 11.4 million units, down 24.5% year-on-year, accounting for 76.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

First, the overall situation of the domestic mobile phone market
In February 2022, the domestic market mobile phone shipments were 14.864 million units, down 31.7% year-on-year, of which 5G mobile phones were 11.374 million units, down 24.5% year-on-year, accounting for 76.5% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.
From January to February 2022, the overall shipment of mobile phones in the domestic market totaled 47.886 million units, down 22.6% year-on-year, of which 5G mobile phone shipments were 37.698 million units, down 11.0% year-on-year, accounting for 78.7% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In February 2022, 29 new models of domestic mobile phones were listed, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year, of which 15 were 5G mobile phones, down 6.3% year-on-year, accounting for 51.7% of the number of new models listed in mobile phones in the same period.
From January to February 2022, a total of 59 new models were listed, down 27.2% year-on-year, of which 30 were 5G mobile phones, down 37.5% year-on-year, accounting for 50.8% of the number of new models listed in mobile phones in the same period.

Second, the composition of domestic and foreign brands in the domestic mobile phone market
In February 2022, domestic brand mobile phone shipments were 12.783 million units, down 34.7% year-on-year, accounting for 86.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; 29 new models were listed, an increase of 3.6% year-on-year, accounting for 100% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.
From January to February 2022, the shipment volume of domestic brand mobile phones totaled 38.434 million units, down 27.9% year-on-year, accounting for 80.3% of mobile phone shipments in the same period; the total number of new models listed was 55, down 29.5% year-on-year, accounting for 93.2% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period.

Third, the development of domestic smart phones
In February 2022, smartphone shipments were 14.549 million units, down 31.8% year-on-year and accounting for 97.9% of mobile phone shipments in the same period. From January to February 2022, smartphone shipments were 46.915 million units, down 23.0% year-on-year, accounting for 98.0% of mobile phone shipments in the same period.

In February 2022, 22 new smartphone models were listed, down 8.3% year-on-year, accounting for 75.9% of the number of new mobile phone models listed in the same period. From January to February 2022, a total of 50 new models were listed on the market of smart phones, down 23.1% year-on-year, accounting for 84.7% of the number of new models listed in the same period.
